The owners are so wonderful, very accommodating. The rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Dinner menu limited and the same as last we were there, was nothing too great. Good location for amish country visit or edge of Appalachia hiking.

Not too much actually. There is a Native American Mound very close, which is interesting. The foot tour and the small museum could take about 3 hours tops. There is a great little coffee shop, The Green Beanery and of course several Amish stores. That is about all in the area. I do believe once you are at Murphin Ridge you will not feel to much of a need to leave. It is so peaceful and relaxing. Give the Shuffle Board a try !
