There aren't many places to stay in this area, so we were happy to find such a charming inn that was within walking distance to shops and restaurants in this quaint town. We stayed here last year, and returned again this year for an annual event. The rooms are large and comfortable, they smell so nice and fresh, and the...

I stayed here last year when on a bike trip. This is the nicest inn i have ever stayed in and i have been in a few. First class furnishings, beautiful, extremely clean. Great host. In town, so a great restaurant around the corner. Can't say enough about this place.

Returning home for a Memorial Service for a parent & received a recommendation from friends. What a delightful hidden gem in downtown Urbana. The location was perfect, great recommendations for places to eat, and the room was a delight. We stayed at a 5 star hotel on our way home and their sheets & towels weren't nearly as soft nor...

From the moment we walked in we were hooked. The place was roomy, clean and perfect for our long girlfriend weekend. The location was steps away from the downtown area and we enjoyed walking to the various antique shops. We have already reserved a room for next year!

After spending a less than desirable evening at a budget suite down the street I had the good fortune to find this hidden gem. Quaint, great location and reasonably priced the Scioto Inn was such a lovely surprise! The owner Rich was so kind and lives on site. He took the time to give us a quick tour of the...

Just returned from a very nice two day stay in Urbana. We were fortunate to find the Scioto Inn, which turned out to be a highlight of our trip. The Scioto Inn is a lovely, affordable, extremely clean, and quiet place to spend the night. The rooms are nicely furnished, and a couple have a private entrance with a small...

Located right downtown, it is a great central location for visiting friends in the Urbana area. A bit pricey for a room with no extras offered, but I must say that the room was gorgeous. Very beautifully done furnishings and bedding, cute bathroom, and of course all was clean and new looking. We parked on the street right in front...

Nicely furnished, clean, comfortable suite. Walking distance to restaurants downtown. Recommend suites towards the back of the property due to traffic noise in the front of the inn( due to location on the main highway through town). Good location - would definitely stay here again.

A gem. Owner Richard Colvin opened the Scioto Inn July 2011, after a well thought-out renovation of this lovely Victorian residence. We are Manhattanites who've been coming to central Ohio for 30 years (family) and this was our first stay at the Scioto Inn. How I wish the Inn had been open as long as we've been coming! It's really...

We stayed at the Scioto Inn for 2 nights when we had a last minute weekend to ourselves. The Inn would be an outstanding bed and breakfast if it served breakfast. Our room (actually a 2-room suite) was roomy, comfortable, quiet, and well-appointed. Breakfast was a non-issue as there is a very nice coffee shop - though limited menu -...
