Checked in at 7:30 PM Friday, Needed a Frig, confirmed that. Traveling with my Show dog. Get to room NO heat, Frig Broken, hole in wall, room stinks, no phone to call front desk. Walk down, they will NOT move me to another room due to DOG!!!! Call Corporate, girl there very nice got me into a NICE Quality inn 5 miles away. I go back to front dest to check out, they will NOT give me receipts or credit my card. Tell me since I was in room they have to charge me $20. Now a few days later, still waiting for credit to my card. They said I was a NO SHOW. HOW could I have all these problems if I never showed up!??!?!? Can't get ahold or property manager, only there on Sat & Sun 1-2 hours, no wonder the place is TRASH.

Hotel is in need of renovations. Everything is falling apart. Front door won’t shut. No number on room. Breakfast was basic to nothing. Worst part was bugs in room.!!!!! No lights in parking lot. Felt unsafe. Don’t stay here!!!!!

After getting to our room and doing the usual check for bedbugs, we thought nothing of it when we went to bed. My husband woke up in the middle of our first night to bedbugs crawling all over me. I ended up with 12 bites. We rushed to tell staff and they weren’t worried at all and “couldn’t give us a refund at that moment”. We left and spent the rest of our weekend at another hotel. Now two weeks later, we’re being told they will not be giving us a refund no matter what. This place keeps the money while making its guests suffer from the stress of bedbugs. It needs shut down.

Checked in and appeared to be normal after about an hour my wife was reading and a bed bug ran across the pillow. Upon further inspection of the mattress skirt we found many more. We packed up got a refund as fast as possible and would not recommend staying here.

There is no breakfast provided. The room that is used for breakfast is closed and filthy. When you ask for clean towels they don't have any. The lobby is filthy. There is no room service. The pool has graffiti on the tiles. Maintenance never came in to fix the refrigerator that wasn't working. The beds are hard and our back bothered us in the morning. The manager was smoking a cigar in the lobby and there is no smoking in the hotel.

2 stars because my room smells like cigarette smoke so we are changing hotels. We stayed here years ago and it has gone downhill. There is mold in shower and around outside tub. Don't look in the fan when you are in the shower! You will see lots of caked on dust (scary). Room is nice and would be fine if didn't smell and bathroom was in better shape. Ac seems really old and it smells too. Bed is comfortable though. so If it didn't smell we would stay another 3 nights, but moving to the other hotel in Springboro. Stayed there before. Much nicer. Check out time is??? Door says noon, booklet in room says 11 and website says 10. Sigh... Guy at front desk very nice. Area is safe/great.

This was one of the worst trip ever me my husband and daughter and dog went out to Ohio to stay in this hotel it was not one of the best all of the pic that you see is from the room we stayed in tried to talk with the owner about it and she just wanted to kick us out saying she was going to call the cops she said all we wanted was a free night not to even want say well let me see the pic No she said my housekeepers are good workers bull these pictures tell it all nasty nasty nasty.

The second floor had a very bad smell, I seen a roach, and we put tips on the bed and when we got back to the room the tip was gone but they had done nothing to the room. Tried to let the desk know but they wanted to argue, Do not stay here.

My husband and I checked into Quality Inn last Friday. After doing some ironing I closed up the ironing board and a hypodermic needle fell out of the board onto the floor. My husband immediately called the front desk. The employee quickly came to our room to see what happened. She seemed to be at a loss of what she should do. She offered to move us to another room, but no other king rooms were available. At this point we were running late for the concert we were attending and just asked her to dispose of the needle and we would keep our room. She picked it up with toilet paper and left. After she left I finished putting the iron away and found a small box in the closet. I got it out and it ended up being a small digital scale used to measure drugs with. Again, my husband immediately called the front desk and asked for a manager to come up this time. A manager was not on site, but did come within 15 minutes with the first employee. The manager offered to move our room again, which we declined, because at this point we were packing our things and leaving. The manager was little to no help outside of throwing the scale away. The employee tried really had to get us to stay and was the one to offer to comp our stay. Ultimately our only trip we have taken without our children was ruined, our health and safely was compromised, and we had to drive three hours home in the middle of the night due to this incident. I understand the drug epidemic is everywhere and impacts all public places and I can’t expect not to be exposed to it, but had I not been more careful or our children would have been with us and grabbed the needle or touched the residue on that scale this situation could have been far worse. I think you will agree that this is an unacceptable standard for any hotel. My family always tries to use Choice Hotels and actually have another stay booked later this month, however, I’m not sure I will feel comfortable staying in any hotel, especially a Quality Inn again. I have contacted choice hotels multiple times and they have referred my concerns to the owner and manager each time an now over a month later I have still not been contacted. Choice hotels has properly dealt with the matter and I do appreciate that, but the owner needs to be held accountable. I have attached the pictures of the items.

As with another review that mentions the cockroaches in the jacuzzi suite, we took photographic evidence and were still called liars. My wife and I were on a trip up to Columbus Ohio and stopped in Springboro to grab some local food the following morning. We checked out within 15 minutes because of bugs. The room was blasting at 83 degree (85 outside at midnight when we checked in), and then the awkward lighting scheme with a mix of the yellow and white lightbulbs in various outlets. I can let the pictures from July 21 that I uploaded to speak for my experiences. I have been a Choice Privileges member for a while and use the chain exclusively for work conferences and vacations, typically between 10-20 nights a year. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had. The front desk attendant that night, was great and reported the incident immediately to his manager. The manager called me the next day, but I was working, and when I returned the call on the next business day, the manager was out of town, so a different front desk person took my name but insisted that I was mistaken because their hotel does not have cockroaches and they have never had any issues. I hung up and called the Corporate Helpline and after a lengthy hold time, their team helped resolve the issue with crediting my account with enough points to book a night somewhere else. The helpline also told me that the reason for the long hold was that they were speaking with the hotel and they only wanted to credit half the amount I spent because they insisted we were lying. So...kudos to the Choice Privileges helpline for doing the right thing. Now I'm just out the $133.41 for the Holiday Inn that I had to book that night.
