We stayed at the cottages on the lake. Nice, clean and cozy cottage with a deck overlooking Lake Erie provided a beautiful view. Shuttle service available all around Cedar Point. Close enough to the action but far enough way that it was still private and peaceful. When we arrived, our hot water wasn't working. It was repaired quickly and when...

Got it Cabin opening day of Cedar Point for two nights and the cabinet self was absolutely wonderful. Late night check in staff on Friday night absolutely wonderful. On Saturday teenagers were running around wild going on to other people's properties yelling screaming without supervision. When paying 300 a night that's not a good thing to have others impinge on...

We go every year for our family reunion and stay in the cottages on the lake. We love it! We can grill out, enjoy the lake, fish and just relax. The only down side is that the beds are terribly uncomfortable!!!!! Take a bed pad or something to help!

We camped in site 266. Sites are cement and have some privacy bushes since neighbors are relatively close. We stayed for the last weekend if the year and it was booked. Still remained quiet at night after the rides shut down. Otherwise you hear the train whistle and the boom from Maverick. It's very expensive for a camping weekend but...

I grew up in Michigan so we made special plans to splurge and stay on the Lighthouse Point property. It is adjacent to the RV campground. Here is a list of Pros and Cons from our stay: Pros: Easy check in and parking Early admittance to the amusement park Steps away from the water Completely private for your family You...

We go to Cedar Point for Halloweekends every year and every year we select Lighthouse Point cabins for our group to stay at. They offer different cabin options. We usually select the Lakeview cottages since it works perfectly for our group of 4 or 6. The cottages have a bedroom with a full size bed and 2 bunk beds. The...

We stayed October 1st weekend. The check-in line was a little slow moving. There are only 2 stations to check people into the resort. The staff was helpful and gave us maps and allowed us to purchase park and dinning passes at check in. There is a convenient store attached to the check in area. We arrived at night and...

This was the second year in a row staying in a lighthouse point cabin for halloweekends at Cedar Point. Previously we stayed at Sandcastle Suites but prefer the layout of the cabin for our family and friends. The housekeeping was bad last year, but this year it was terrible! Gum on the ceiling in the loft, some unknown substance on...

We splurged and stayed on CP property for a Halloweekend. Staying on property provides some perks! We still wanted to save a little money and so we had planned to make some meals in the deluxe cabin we had rented for two nights. There is no kitchen and they don't even have plates or silverware! Luckily I had taken a...

I paid $290 per night to sleep with ants. Nothing could be left out or it would be infected with ants. The showers, sinks and beds with infested with ants. I called management and they came to spray but they came back full force. We have to keep all our trash outside and throw away out food. Not sure I...
