Delightful stay that surpassed our expectations. Incredibly gracious hosts, bucolic setting, handsome home, attentive, caring service, comfortable bed, breakfast was above and beyond -- we had no idea we would be eating so well - home-made poached pears, apple sauce, granola, crepes, muffins, baked eggs, waffles, breakfast sausage and bacon. Everything was made with such care and finesse. Highly recommend....

What a delight to stay at this charming historic inn just steps from the Conservatory and the downtown. On previous visits to our son at Oberlin, we'd stayed at various generic chain hotels in the surrounding area, with zero charm and still 20 minutes away. The Buckeye and the Frog, on the other hand, is just lovely. The architecture, the...

We stayed here for two nights when picking up our son from a summer program at the conservatory. Why would Obie parents want to stay anywhere else? The Buckeye room was spacious and comfortable. There were spots in the home and grounds to sit and relax. Janet and Dominique were wonderful hosts, offering great advice about dining and activities. We...

From reservation to check out, The Buckeye and the Frog provided an exceptional experience. The property is perfect, the location ideal, and the hospitality adds value and delight at every turn. What a beautiful, historic home, prefect for a small town B&B. Add the proximity to the College and downtown Oberlin - a very short walk. And mix in good...

The Buckeye and the Frog is a beautiful old home with equally beautiful gardens in a lovely neighborhood which is close enough to walk to the college (with the art museum we visited) and charming downtown area (with some very good restaurants). Janet and Dominique are delightful and fabulous hosts making us feel welcomed and at home. We chose the...

Our room was spotless, quiet, and very comfortable. The breakfast was so good, especially the baked egg dish. The house and neighborhood are so pretty, and we enjoyed morning walks to downtown Oberlin. The location is close to everything. We really enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I spent the nights before and after our wedding at The Buckeye and the Frog. Dominique and Janet were endlessly kind and considerate, and helped to make us feel very special on that day. We stayed in the Frog room, which was gorgeous and very comfortable and quiet; breakfast was delicious; and my husband fell in love...

Superb breakfasts, comfortable bed, very friendly and helpful hosts. Very nicely located in Oberlin. And a plus: Hanging on a wall is a print of a painting done by an Oberlin art professor that we have in our home! Couldn't recommend it more.

Janet and Dominique can not make your stay better because they do care so much that you feel you are at home with the highest possible service. Lovely people that made our stay unforgettable. Then, our morning running to the lake made our stay even better.
