We stopped here for a drink while during the circular walk around Castle Combe. We loved the look of the pub both inside and out. Service was with a smile and although we didn't eat here the menu looked good. Seemed like a popular pub and would definitely go back for drinks or lunch or dinner in the future!

Met with a few old friends here and stayed in the rooms. Beautiful rustic pub and rooms. Food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. Nice beer, lovely atmosphere and gorgeous setting. Cannot recommend highly enough. If you want a romantic weekend or meets by up for a meal with friends, in a nice country getaway with lovely walks and fresh...

Boyfriend brought me here as a surprise meal out was very disappointed wasn't the experience I was expecting! First of all we asked what ciders they served then the waiter said "the normal Coke lemonade etc" so I asked for a few minutes to look at the drinks menu & the waiter kept saying there on the back page when...

Met with a friend at the White Hart for a natter and had a main course, desert and drinks. The staff were attentive, perhaps marginally over-attentive, but very pleasant and helpful with advice over both the drinks and the food. The food was delicious and, being a cold main course, arrived in double-quick time. I am currently dieting and couldn't...

One of the better pubs we visited while in this neck of the woods. Went several times for a drink, menu looked good, and food going out looked good too, but never actually got to eat there. Staff friendly, good choice of beers. Very nice interior with different sections to sit.

Always made to feel welcome and appreciated here. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxed. Decor and ambience is wholesome and beautifully styled. Food is always excellent and served in a timely fashion with caring and proffessional staff. Thank you for always making our visits so special.

The day after New Year's Day: no food in the house, clear blue sky and a frost on the windscreen - definitely a day for an explore! Ours took us to Wiltshire, where we found this gem of a pub. The bank holiday menu was extensive and very reasonably priced (£24 for 3 courses). We didn't book and just about...

Enjoyed a nice lunch. Service very good even though the pub was busy. Lots of dog walkers and dogs which the pub clearly welcomes. Unfortunately as someone in a wheelchair, I didn't feel as welcome. Although the pub is accessible, there is no disabled toilet.

I would like to make the point that we are regular visitors to the restaurant at the white Hart and have always had an excellent meal but this occasion was very different. I phoned in early December to book a table to cater for 3 generations of my family, all adults but with various tastes in food. Had a discussion...
