If you have business around Burton (about 40 miles east of Cleveland) I recommend checking out Punderson Manor. The manor and grounds are run by the Ohio State parks and was a nice change from a chain hotel

A coworker and I stayed just before the summer season started and had m

We opted to dine out for Thanksgiving this year and came across the Punderson Manor Thanksgiving buffet. The restaurant is open on all other days, excluding major holidays when they offer buffets, etc. The location is the same, but the buffet is set up in the main area. We did ha

Property is very relaxing and peaceful. Employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. Make sure to take a nice walk around the property across the docks of the water and if possible enjoy a evening camp fire.

are there are winter activities there like sled riding for children?
Hi! Yes, the park does have a sledding hill. It is lighted for evening sledding and there is a tow rope that runs from 12-5pm. The hours of the tow rope do vary depending on the amount of snow on the ground and is at the discretion of the State Park. But the hill is always technically open during daylight hours. We also have many trails to explore around the park and there is of course the indoor pool at the lodge for people staying in the Manor or cabins. I hope this helps!

My group of eight Seventy-Year-Old women is looking for a place to spend five or so days in October 2017. What activities are available at that time. What is nearby for entertainment and shopping.
Hi and thanks for your question. Punderson Manor is situated in Geauga County, close to shopping and dining in nearby Burton and Chardon, and, as Debora mentioned, Chagrin Falls. We're also adjacent to the 4th largest Amish community in the world, centered around Middlefield. In fact, we offer guided tours of the Amish area. To learn more about our Lodge and nearby activities, please visit our web site or give us a call at 440-564-9144. Thanks again!
