We recently visited Punderson Manor for a relaxing getaway weekend. We had never been inside the lodge, just camped at the state park. The manor was a very unique place. It was very old, and half was very castle-like. It’s said to be haunted, which we didn’t know prior to

Another great stay at a unique spot...nestled far off the beaten path, an old manor, well kept on a marvelous lake...lodgings are great, rooms well appointed and staff friendly and attentive. Lots to see and do on the property, golf, trails, fishing and a great restaurant.

I needed to visit the area to look at a pony for my son. We ended up staying and dining here. I cannot even begin to describe how cool this place is. YES - it's a state park. Don't expect luxury. But I promise, this is a place you won't forget. The details are amazing, the

Hi! Thank you for the nice review. I am a personal fan of the beef wellington on the menu but I am surprised you did not like the pork chop, it is a local favorite. Do come back and see us again!

We spent a week here for an end of the summer family vacation. It’s hard to believe that this gem of a park is 45 min from Cleveland suburbs. We rented a cabin; it was clean and well maintained. Our cabin was 001, the first in the circle. This meant we were closest to the pool

are there are winter activities there like sled riding for children?
Hi! Yes, the park does have a sledding hill. It is lighted for evening sledding and there is a tow rope that runs from 12-5pm. The hours of the tow rope do vary depending on the amount of snow on the ground and is at the discretion of the State Park. But the hill is always technically open during daylight hours. We also have many trails to explore around the park and there is of course the indoor pool at the lodge for people staying in the Manor or cabins. I hope this helps!

Hi and thanks for your question. Punderson Manor is situated in Geauga County, close to shopping and dining in nearby Burton and Chardon, and, as Debora mentioned, Chagrin Falls. We're also adjacent to the 4th largest Amish community in the world, centered around Middlefield. In fact, we offer guided tours of the Amish area. To learn more about our Lodge and nearby activities, please visit our web site or give us a call at 440-564-9144. Thanks again!
