It was very pleasant stay. Rooms were clean and had been nicely updated. Receptionist was very kind. The breakfast was generous and the entire atmosphere in the OLD HISTORIC HOUSE was awesome. The outside tables are arranged in the beautiful garden and little walking path. I recommend this motel - hotel.

We stayed here for four nights while attending the Western & Southern Open. To be frank, we drove by the place before making the reservations, because many reviewers cautioned that it was a motel, not a hotel. We were lucky that the maids were cleaning a room and allowed us to look inside, because the outward appearance is a 1960's...

We stayed here during the WS tennis tournament this year. It's a nice property that is well taken care of. The rooms are very clean and well furnished. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with a very pretty perennial garden and brick patio and out door chimney. The pool also looks very nicely maintained, although I did not use it. The...

We stayed at Kirkwood for the first time last week during a visit to Kings Island. We had 3 rooms and all were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and we loved the historic home it was served in. Definitely will return next year!

Clean and quiet. The room and grounds are emasculate. Lovely appointed rooms to the keeping of the era of the main house. The staff so friendly, linens beautiful. Great place to stay. Clean, clean, clean.

Every year just before school starts we take our children to King's Island. We have stayed at the Kirkwood Inn every year and won't consider staying anywhere else. The rooms are clean, come with a refrigerator, and the service - special requests for extra towels, etc. - is excellent. But the Kirkwood Inn's real virtue is as a bracket for...

One of the girls in my group booked this inn and told us we were staying at a Bed & Breakfast so expecting this type of venue we were rather disappointed to arrive at a rather typical looking multi-roomed hotel. We decided to check in anyway as we were too tired after a full day of antique shopping to search...

I enjoyed our stay here. I just wish we were able to spend more time here so we could have used the outdoor pool. We went to Kings Island so we checked in late and left right after breakfast. Our room was on the second floor. The room was clean and comfortable. I slept well. The owners were very helpful....

This hotel is lovely, but while they advertise that they encourage groups (bridal showers, etc) they apparently don't. The front desk staff scoffed at my request, which I found odd since it's listed on their website. I'd be willing to stay at this property at as a getaway for two, but that's about all they can handle.
