While this isn't exactly back country camping, the tent sites are actually rather private and the campground is well maintained, quiet, and has decent facilities. I plan on staying again as soon as I have an opportunity. I've stayed in the cabins as well and I think they are a great value. Hiking, kayaking, and even dinner at the lodge,...

My family had the opportunity to camp here for the first time last weekend. Overall - a very good experience with a couple suggested improvements. The staff were very nice and stopped by our site several times to say hello and see if we needed anything. The shower houses on the campgrounds were clean with nice hot water for showering....

I'm actually from a town close to the campground, but I've never stayed here before now. We took our RV here for two nights while visiting family and the location was great. It's easy to get in and out of, and conveniently on Rt 3. The actually RV slots aren't the best, it's fairly uneven and they're gravel, but they're...

This is one of the nicest family oriented state park campgrounds. The lots are well taken care of. The shower house and amount of hot water is so refreshing. The staff attended to all our needs, including handicap facilities. Bonus is a pool in the campground. I know of no other Ohio state park that does. Lots of things for...

This is our 6th year in a row, 3 years in primitive campung and 3 years at one of the cozy cabins. This year was a little more expensive and a little disappointing. We have always looked forward to bingo and the cornhole tourney, breaks up the time, but this year no activities. The bathrooms have always been clean, not...

My husband stayed for one week, I joined him mid week. We had a wonderful time with our good friends at the camp site right next to us. Booking was difficult, the young ladies who took my reservation on the phone didn't listen/confirm info and got my initial information wrong so I had to call back to correct this. Sites...

We enjoyed our stay here Wed through Sun. Sites were nice size, indoor pool, walking paths, cabins, lake, etc. Only downside was no TV service unless you have a satellite. No biggy..there to get back to nature. Bonus Mohican Adventures is right across the road.. canoeing, tubing, miniature golf, aerial climbing, etc. Would come back here!

We just got home from our weekend if camping and we had a great time as always. The campgrounds were clean as well as the shower houses and indoor pool area. This seems like a great place for families too as there are a lot of activities around. We went rafting and hoped to do mini golf but ran out...

My family has camped here every even numbered year for the past 6 years to attend the Flxible Bus Rally. Loudonville was where Flxibles were manufactured. We have an antique bus converted into an RV. The rally is held in the part of the campground nearest Route 3. These sites used to be well shaded, but the Emerald Ash Borer...
