I spent the night in the Charles Dickens room. I loved the antique furniture! I loved the history of the place! Every detail was perfect! It had the charm of centuries past with all the modern conveniences! I couldn't recommend the place enough! Great place!

I’ve been wanting to come for a long time- it needs some love and attention- wallpaper peeling in our room, stained carpets, ripped lampshades. the food and service were good in the tavern and at breakfast.

Room had a TV, ice on the floor above us and parking is free in the lot next to/behind the hotel.
