We visited during a recent trip to Tasmania on reading previous reviews and were not disappointed! Comfortable, spacious, the building is unique and stunning floor to ceiling windows to gaze out over Bruny Island. Loved the personal touches - a larder with purchasable groceries and wine to cook up a storm, the book swap basket, a very comfortable bed in...

I had a wonderful two night stay at Peppermint Ridge Retreat. The place was cozy, clean and the view was spectacular. It was a lovely treat to find fresh bread baking and I enjoyed the breakfast supplied on the first morning, including oranges to freshly squeeze. The spa bath and wood fire were a lovely treat.

The check in was easy as the owners live on the property. We loved the view the retreat offered over the ocean. Nothing better than freshly baked bread and the hosts put that straight on as soon as we checked in. Our room had a loft and fully equipt kitchen. We stayed 2 nights but could have easily stayed 2...

We have just had the most beautiful weekend away with a stay at Peppermint Ridge Retreat. The owners have created the most beautiful accommodation with an incredible view over the bay. Everything has been thought of to ensure guests have a wonderful experience: books, DVDs, music, spa, wood fire in uniquely created studios. The little extras like freshly baked bread,...

Can't say anything negative about our stay except that we had to come home. Beautiful lodge, all amenities were top notch. The little touches like the freshly baked bread and breakfast provisions were appreciated. Visiting wildlife was a nice surpise as was the our visit from the chicken which we named Henny Penny she must have thought it so good...

We were given a one night stay here as a gift and wished we could stay longer! It was immaculately clean and very well equipped. The breakfast supplies were generous and fresh baked bread a real treat! We will definitely recommend this property to our friends and family. Half hour drive from Hobart.

We recently stayed at Peppermint Ridge Retreat for three nights. It was one of favourite spots. The house is absolutely wonderful and complete luxury. We were able to BBQ and dine on the verandah, looking over amazing views. There is also another gorgeous dining area inside. The kitchen had everything we needed and is well designed. We saw plenty of...

This is a gorgeous property, perched up high on a ridge with amazing views over the d'Entrecasteaux Channel to Bruny Island. Nice touches include breakfast provisions in the fridge and fresh bread baking upon arrival. Although it sleeps 4+, there is only 1 formal bedroom - the mezzanine has a queen size bed but it is open to the main...

What a great Tasmanian rural experience, with fantastic views from all windows, local wildlife and helpful hosts. A friendly B & B with good facilities. We really enjoyed our stay, thanks, will be back again.

The view is awesome. The property itself is run down and overpriced. If it was more reasonably priced it would be ok. They have a nature loo (drop toilet) which you are not told about when you book so that took us by surprise. The windows down stairs do not lock and there are no fly screens (more of an...
