Lovely couple own and run the park. Extremely helpful and clean cabins. They are always improving and updating the park. Highly recommended. They know all about the area, the activities, restaurants and more. Its right on the beach but protected from the sea winds. A highly recommended headland walk is right outside the door.

There are some good deals on off peak cabins. It is so good to get a friendly welcome when you check in followed up by a bit of local knowledge on attractions to see and town amenities. Cabin is clean and very comfortable. a very short walk across the road to the beach.

I have just had the pleasure of spending a few nights at the Swansea Holiday Park Schouten Beach. A group of friends organised a retro caravan weekend. Not having a van I opted to stay in the cabins. Very comfortable, exceptionally clean, well stocked and large enough to all gather in if the weather turned wet. I enjoyed a lovely...

Thanks Sharen for the great review, I should point out that Sharen was walking a puppy belonging to one of the vans as, at the moment, we cannot have animals in the cabins apart from assistance dogs. We'd love to host another Retro weekend!

Hosts very helpful and friendly and amendities very clean. Even in the pouring rain the ground stayed reasonably dry. Yes I will definately be taking my caravan up to the beautiful part of the East coast again.

Stayed here for 2 nights and booked the standard cabin (1 queen bed). [Visit Kate's Berry farm on the way in if you can! The jams are nice and we had some scones while we were there]. The lady at the holiday park reception is really friendly and helpful - she gave us a couple of maps of the small...

Close to beach & views to Freycinet. New owners with plans to renovate. Over priced currently for its run down state. Staff very helpful though. Facilities include camp kitchen with gas BBQ, games/lounge room, showers & toilets, laundry. Powered sites & onsite cabins.

We stayed in a self contained unit it was great value for the night we stayed. It had a queen bed and bunks as well as a well equipped kitchen. The bathroom was great. The sheets and towels were supplied.

We stayed here for two nights in one of their cabins. Yes, the cabins are compact - ours was a studio style - but it contained everything we needed and was very comfortable. Small but functional bathroom and kitchen. Our cabin had an electric blanket, as well as a room heater, which were a pleasant surprise for us, and which...

“I chose to stay in a cabin, which had a double bed and single but there are other configurations if required.”

“If staying in a cabin, try to get one close to the foreshore .... Lots of permanent sites .... Very few sites suitable for vans but smaller tent sites are located closest to the beach.”

“We camped and were able to walk around the park and choose our own site before we set up. The owners were helpful and will assist you to choose a site or allow inspection if you ask. The owner also provided helpful local information.”

“This visit a cabin was booked, with a room with q/s bed and in another room were two bunks single beds. Excellent set up for families and friends. Cabins were extremely clean and tidy. Very comfortable bed. Advise owner if additional bed linen is required as they are extremely lovely and happy to assist.”

“If you think rates are too high when the park is not full, ask if the manager's cottage is available. This was mainly clean and comfortable but when I gave the owner feedback on the vinyl floors being swept but not mopped she went on the defensive, saying, 'It is what it is.' I almost laughed because the implied message is that you can have a cheaper price but total cleanliness doesn't go with that.”
