Strahan is an ideal starting point for exploring West cost Tasmania, as far as possible. There are river cruises to Gordon River world heritage area. The Hotel is good. Several rooms scattered around the main building. So there is a bit to walk, good to know for people who have some difficulties. Room equipped with everything you need. Whole atmosphere...

We recently enjoyed a three night stay at the village. It is the best location . We stayed in Huon apartments. It has was a quiet time here so the little bit of noise we heard did not disturb us. The grounds and outside of the building need maintenance. A broken glass pane in the door leading into apartment complex...

I should preface this review by explaining that prior to staying here we had slept for many nights in a leaky tent.... in the rain... and that we got a good discounted rate for our room (Standard Room, $120). Having set the scene, we loved this place. The apartment had a massive shower, separate kitchen, lounge, bedroom, and outside seating...

We arrived here January 2017 and found the room to be very comfortable and clean .The Wi-Fi was 5 mps and could use it even from the street ",I was amazed." The room was one of the old building which I found was in a better spot than the new buildings right on the water front .I would recommend this...

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Strahan Village. We stayed on the hill in an executive room with harbour view. We found the room large and well appointed. The room had a gorgeous view of the water and village. We would definitely recommend this establishment to other travelers.

My second stay at the Village, It;s right in the heart of town, handy to everything, comfortable and cosy rooms, not sure about the carpet choice in our room, but other than that it was great, with a view right across the bay, the staff were helpful and friendly, as are all the local in Tassie, we stayed two nights...

The location is perfect. The views stunning. Dinner at View 42 amazing selection of the food only Tasmania has to offer. But to top it off the staff are genuine and go out of their way to help. After a small medical emergency the team rallied around and did everything possible to assist. A big thank you to John and...

LOCATION: The location is ideal, right in the heart of town and so within walking distance to boat cruises, food outlets, shops and the tourist information centre. STAFF: We dealt with Tracey upon arrival, who was very friendly and welcoming, and could not have been nicer or made the check-in process easier. It was a good start to our stay,...

Situated in Strahan, a small town, the acomodation dominates a hillside. Many oif the rooms have excellent views over the water and the bar and restaurant there have a stunning backdrop against which to eat and drink. Everything is within walking distance as the place is quite small. It is the starting point for Gordon River cruises which we did...

We had a suite on the upper floors, so had a nice view out over the harbour. A bit noisy with the traffic going past, but Tasmania is not that busy, so we didn't mind. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. Overall, a good choice so close to everything going on.
