We stayed in a self catering cottage. Great view. But the kitchen is not very functional, or well kitted out. Managed to make a meal, but it was a struggle to get the toaster oven and electric frypan working. Disappointing.

The value for money was really good, the only unusual thing is the toilet downstairs in the motel while the beds are upstairs. It is DARK here at night, plus it was a rainy windswept night so it felt a bit strange but there's a handrail, you can hang on to the wall and get downstairs without waking your partner...

Basic motel with kitchenette in a good location, but very clean and looked recently renovated. This was good value for a night's stay. Good bed, lots of hot water and the heating lamps in the bathroom were much appreciated on a chilly morning. Short drive to stunning Bay of Fires. As for restaurants, the nearby fish place Blue Shed was...

Stayed for one night only in one of the spacious two-storey motel rooms. We couldn't fault it. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and equipped with all we needed. All in all, good value for money.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin which was clean and comfortable but it could do with an update. The location is great (a bit of a windy road up to the cabins) with a very short drive to the town centre and another short drive to a good fishing spot. Washing facilities are available in a spearate building which...

We stayed here for 2 nights in a 2 bedroom cottage; it was clean, spacious and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen; however the double bed was very uncomfortable. The location had an amazing view of the bay and was a short distance to the main shopping centre. Staff were friendly and welcoming and it was a good place from...

This was the cheapest accommodation we had during a 6 week trip. However our 1 bedroom cabin had lots of space, was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to cook a full meal. We even had a deck to sit out with a glass of wine in the evening. It's in a very quiet position with good views over...

Pluses: We stayed in a one BR cottage. It was nicely positioned up on the hill with a view to the sea. The host was pleasant and helpful. The cabins are not expensive. Basic toilettries are provided. Things to improve? I didn't find the beds particularly comfortable. Self contained? - probably not a good idea to have a bar fridge...
