Like all the reviews here on Tripadvisor, we found the Artnor lodge a fantastic place to stay. Yes, from the front it doesn't look much, but what it offers is fantastic. Clean, roomy, modern units, communal kitchen with breakfast, and in our case our motorbikes securely parked in front of the units. (they even provide a hose for washing vehicles...

Stayed in a unit with en-suite for 1 night during our travels around Tassie. These units are very neat and clean. Central within a 2 minute walk into the centre of town. Would easily stay here again. Parking is available right outside your unit.

Nice little unit for our 1 night stay, comfortable bed, very clean and cosy. Host was a wonderful and informative lady. Pleasant place to stay. Our unit had an ensuite and very reasonably priced. Car was right outside your door.

We have stayed in the self contained rooms a couple of times now and it is excellent value. Rooms are great for the money. This little place does not stand out when driving past and looks like a house. Rooms are around the back and you will get a nice surprise. Make sure you visit Crossroad wine bar when in...

We found our stay here very good. It was very clean, tidy & the hosts were very helpful. They also were able to recommend a great place to eat. We had to do a small repair on our vehicle & they helped out with tools that I didn't have with me. We won't forget our stay in St Helens

My husband and I stayed here when we visited the Bay of Fires. From the outside this place looks quite low budget but we were pleasantly surprised. The owner was very pleasant. Everything was very clean. The common kitchen was well stocked. The fridge looked rough from the outside but again it was well stocked and clean. Everything is a...

Artnor lodge is located 2 mins walk from centre of town. The rooms are at the rear of the site and are very quiet. Don't be put off by the street appearance which appears dated. The units have been tastefully renovated and are very comfortable. Host Wanita is very friendly and obliging. Off st parking is available outside you unit....

We stayed for one night our our way around Tasmania. The room was excellent and well decorated and tastefully furnished. The owner/manager was very friendly and helpful. A lovely continental breakfast was included in the room rate. The bed was very comfortable. It is only a short walk to the centre of town, shops, etc.

After discovering my original motel room in St Helens was disgusting, I went wandering up the main street looking for an alternative. I saw a quaint little white house with a sign out front and wandered down the drive to reception, where I was greeted by a delightful grandmotherly woman. I explained that I couldn't stay in the other motel...

I had a one night stay here after a little road trip with no previous organised accommodation. Being peak season, the price and what was received was expected. The rooms were small but cosy, (the fridge however woke me throughout the night), the amenities were clean and efficient and i LOVED the little dining area out the back. Was well...
