Very happy here for price we paid. It is an old motel but clean, spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. Small fridge, tea/coffee, continental breakfast supplied the night before, little table by front window and small lounge. The older couple who run the motel were lovely. Recommend for a budget motel

We recently stayed at this motel. A little old but very clean and tidy. The lady in the office was very pleasant and provided old fashioned service which is hard to find these days. Good value for money. Would sta6 here again.

i have stayed at this motel many times over the past 8 years and am always keen to return on my next trip. This family run motel is a budget motel BUT the rooms are a good size, which are kept very clean and tidy. The management are very helpful and work hard at making sure you have what you...

Previous reviewers got it right. Yes, the place has 'seen better days' and is far from modern or fashionable, but it's very cosy, comfortable and clean with a lovely couple running it. If you are a family looking for accommodation that is very affordable but still comfortable and clean, then this place is a gem and it is on this...

This is a true blue budget hotel. The room is ok in size, the bedding and linen also fine. The kitchenette is right next to the bathroom and has just enough space for making a toast or boiling a cup of water. There is a mini bar fridge which si convenient. The kitchenette is stocked with tea, coffee and milk...

We found the Anchor Wheel to be a very comfortable place to stay when in St Helens. The room was very neat and tidy, and the bed was very comfortable. For the price, we thought it was a bargain. Don't expect a high end hotel though...that's not what you payed for. The Restaurant wasn't open, so I can't comment on...

This motel is a not expensive, it's comfortable and clean in a quiet location, with a heater, electric blanket, fridge, toaster kettle, microwave, and complementary biscuits. Breakfast is available for just another $5. Not far from town in a quiet location. Unfortunately the Restaurant is closed, but there are others are not far in town. Owners are very friendly.

Thank Marnie P
