Clean, decent sized room but dark decor. Several lights did not wok but good shower and brilliant WiFi. Had to go to Bakery next door for hot breakfast and no dining faclities for dinner. Excellent generous hot breakfast next door at Bassini's Bakery.

Stayed in room 11 which was a standard motel room. Room had a kitchenette with all cutlery and crockery supplied. Clean, spacious and reasonably priced. Strong odour in room from the new curtains which the owners expect should clear with time. Ate at the cafe attached to the motel which provided tasty meals at a very reasonable price. Reception staff...

The proprietors, a young couple, made every effort to welcome us to this rustic village. Starting with sugar doughnuts on our arrival, to photocopying route sheets (at no charge) for our group of 12 cross Tasmania cyclists from the UK & the US. We stayed 2 nights, to accommodate a side trip to Cradle Mountain and Dove Lake. A high...

This hotel is on the main street, directly opposite an IGA for supplies and the Sheffield Hotel for dinner (there are a couple of other options in town, but choices are limited). The manager is extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was basic, but clean and supplied with everything you'd expect. Despite being near the Sheffield Hotel we didn't get...

Not a bad place to stay the night! It's a lovely location, right near Cradle Mountain. Plenty around town to keep you occupied for a leisurely afternoon. The room itself is roomy and, for the most part, clean. There were a few hairs lying around and some of the cups were dirty, but overall it was pretty decent. Very friendly...

We arrived late, however, the staff were willing to wait for us even though it was outside the standard opening hours (approx 9pm) On arrival we were greeted with a bottle of milk for tea & coffee (I also purchased a bottle of wine) and given our room key.. The room was extremely clean and tidy, they also provided towels,...

Stayed for 1 night, April 22-23. Reserved one room online at the nightly rate of $120 AUD. My wife and I were looking for a place to stay near Cradle Mountain when we learned about Mural Fest. Since we would be around at that time, we booked a stay in Sheffield. At check-in, we were warmly greeted and handed our...

The room we stayed in was average but very clean but a bit too expensive for the facilities provided. The pillows need updating and heating in the bathroom would be nice. Fresh milk was provided for coffee which was a very nice touch and the free wifi was intermittent so we could not use it.

“Stayed in a room downstairs in the eastern section of the motor inn. There were also, appeared to be newer rooms in the western part of the motor inn behind reception. Don't know what these rooms are like, but are possibly fresher and more modern that those which we stayed in.”
