The pub is located in the centre of town with plenty of parking nearby. Five of us ordered dinner and drinks-each one ordered a different dish and each was fabulous! Pub grub but well presented with local produce and reasonably priced.

Nice little country pub. Rooms are country pup style with shared bathroom. Clean, adequate. Nice common area, stunning view from the balcony. We had dinner there and I can more then recommend the rissoles, at none the best I've ever had! Friendly staff and atmosphere

My husband and I are from the North East coast of the U. S. were traveling to Cradle Mountain from Hobart and made a pit stop in Scottsdale. We are so happy to have found this wonderful hotel! The room is amazing and the shower the best I have ever seen! The room had a kitchenette and all we needed!...

We popped in here for a counter lunch and what we found was: ●amazing fresh food at very reasonable prices which came promptly; ● friendly attentive staff ● clean tables and restrooms. Will definitely return if back in Tassie.

Good service by delightfully cheerful bar staff. Bar and bistro offer a choice to sit back and relax in. New motel style ensuite rooms have just opened and look comfortable and well layed out. Airconditioned rooms are a plus.

I was slightly put off by the shared facilities when enquiring about the hotel but there was no need to be worried. They were able to accommodate 7 of us over 4 rooms at short notice at a very reasonable price. The rooms were spacious including a tv and some rooms a sink. The shared facilities were clean and included...

Good pub good, not fancy more homestyle cooking. Had pork roast today, it was nice and the crackling delicious. The potato bake was tasty. Apple and blueberry crumble served with cream and ice cream was delicious as well as huge. Real home cooking like nanna use to make. Pub is old style..no renovations, not upmarket but it all adds to...

10 lycra clad cyclists stayed here for 1 night in November. Great pub in a nice town. Accom was sound, typical old country style rooms. Shared bathrooms. Clean and tidy. Downstairs the pub is great with good pub meals. Will return!
