We needed a powered site and the other parks in the area were dearer so we stayed for only a couple of nights. Nice large grassed sites but animal poo everywhere Showers were $1 for 6 mins so we used our own rather than walk up the hill. I was unable to pay by card as the machine wasn't working...

We stay in the Caravan Park. Lovely clean quiet friendly park close to the local beaches. IGA and service station next door.. Amenities a bit tired. We love it there and use as a base for exploring and fishing. St Helens close by.

This tourist park is clean and nice. George was very helpful and offered useful tips and information about the vicinity. Thanks to him, we were able to avoid getting stuck at a road closure situation at St Marys Pass between 9am to 2pm.. Convenient and great location!

The friendly owner waited for our arrival after hours, which was very much appreciated. We stayed in a budget cabin, showing a bit of ageing, but clean, There was space for five people, en suite, cooking facilities and a TV. The kids enjoyed playing by the creek and we had views over the Tasman sea. There is a coin operated...

We had one night in one of the cabins, and it was well set up and impeccably clean. In most holiday cabins with kitchenettes, you have wash up every item before you use it, because the last occupants have left food traces, but at Scamander Tourist Park everything was sparkling and ready to use. Even the gravel drives and the...

We had booked a standard cabin but were upgraded to larger family cabin. The cabin was very clean and very well appointed with a proper cooker (stove and oven). The cabin we had was large and a great view over the road to the ocean. A small store and petrol station are close by. Short drives to many great views...

Really great location. We stayed in one of the new chalets & we stayed 2 nights we liked it so much. Really good facilities which made the fact we had a nine month old baby a bit easier. Really relaxed atmosphere & a 100 metre walk from an absolutely amazing beach.

Admittedly this was the height of the tourist season, and it was ok for one night, just. Luckily I had a (borrowed) camper with kitchen. There was no camp kitchen to speak of. I wandered into the hugely crowded camping area and found a dingy, open kitchen, that was not at all inviting to cook in, and I am not...

The couple who run this park are lovely. My sister and I got in after 8pm and the husband waited up for us. We were also upgraded for free as the hot water service had broken in our original booking. Everything was organized before we got there. It was great.

We booked a cabin online for one night using the Expedia phone app. The website said the cabin we booked it was suitable for two adults and up to one child however when we checked in to the caravan park, the cabin only had one double bed and no additional (or room for) an extra bed. The gentleman filling in...
