The Stewarts Bay Lodge is a modern, clean resort consisting of free-standing cabins in a bush setting by the bay. While our cabin didn't have water views it was spacious and had two bedrooms (one with ensuite), a separate bathroom (no bath but the shower had a hand rail and other facilities for disabled folk), a full kitchen with open-plan...

We stayed in one of the water view cabins, with a perfect view over the bay. The cabin was clean and nicely decorated with comfortable beds and couch. There is no heating in the bedrooms and with one of the windows not being able to close it was quite nippy at night, we did find another blanket for the second...

I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Log cabins are really spacious, clean and well equipped and located in a stunning location by the water and so close to Port Arthur Historic Site. I did a fair bit of research before I decided to stay here and it paid off. Would go back without hesitation. Paddymelons galore!

Stayed in a 1 bedroom water view cabin. Extra large deck and we gave it a 10/10 Perfect views of the water and beach. Couple of devils were screaming at 2 am but loved it. The bed was a little firm but ok. Super clean. Nice people at reception and got it a little earlier than expected. Best small beach...

For an establishment of its reputation to not have any people on the desk at 4 o'clock on Monday afternoon is sad and caused us not to stay at a place we both been very much looking forward to. I called on four occasions and left two messages for this establishment and was either not answered or had my call...

We had a waterview deluxe spa chalet and enjoyed the privacy, views and location. However there were some very disappointing issues which we were not expecting in a property charging $288 per night. Firstly the dishwasher smelled, we found a putrid filter at the bottom, and had to scrape, soak and scrub the greasy solid black mouldy sludge to clean...

What an amazing location right on the bay and central to all things in Port Artur. The cabins are well stocked, quality furniture and fixings for a great value stay in a homely cabin environment. The service was great - and they made us very welcome even after I had made a mistake with my booking. It would be a...

A walking distance to the historic site of Port Arthur's penal colony. The cottages in tucked in the trees, some on the coast with scenic views of the inlet, the boats and boaters. Very peaceful and quiet. The perfect place to stay when going to the historical sites or for exploring the nearby National Park or for taking a coastal...

We didn't stay here but stopped for morning tea. The muffins were the best I've ever had. The staff was extremely pleasant and friendly. We stopped there prior to boarding our Tasmanian Peninsula tour boat.

We had a deluxe chalet as it had a spa bath. Other reviewers have mentioned the self starting spa - the instructions clearly state that the spa will self clean now and then. Remedy is to empty the bath. The chalet is spacious and has a full kitchen if you want to self cater. Nice view of forest, chalet very...
