I noticed one bad review where all the others were excellent. After our delightful experience one can only conclude the bad review was from spiteful people who wander the world just waiting to be offended. They relish the idea of using TripAdviser as an unfair strap to lash establishments who have no recourse. We found the hosts were on tap...

We spent a night here with overseas guests. We loved the wilderness setting, friendly helpful host Rob, who carried our bag into the Lodge, delicious ample dinner he cooked. They source only the freshest and best ingredients from surrounding region. Great wines too. The roomy bedroom and bathroom were superbly appointed, with the best luxurious linens and toiletries. Best of...

Everything about this place was perfect. From our initial conversation with Robert over the phone to book in, to arriving at the gate and experiencing the property during the long driveway to the lodge, to then arriving at such a breathtaking location on the lake. The super king size bed, linen, doona, pillows and custom made furniture in the rooms...

We stayed one night here and were the only guests. Robert made us fell very welcome and gave us the run of the place. Had a magical dinner, fine food, our own music selection, log fire and a couch to curl up on. The wallabies were about most of the time during our stay. We were permitted to take our...

Our three families booked out the Blue Lake Lodge. The accommodation was excellent! Suites beautifully finished with everything we needed. The lounge/dining room was tastefully furnished and a most comfortable gathering place for meals, playing games and talking around the fire. We cooked our own meals, using many ingredients from the well stocked pantry and the thoroughly modern kitchen. Outside...

I had the pleasure of a girls weekend away at this stunning lodge- we booked all three rooms. From the moment we arrived, the stress melted away. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, who were very obliging. We self catered, but any item we missed was available from the well stocked pantry. Located in the Central highlands of...

This Lodge was an absolute amazing place to rest and relax. What made it even more special, were the meals prepared by John and Rob. My wife and I enjoy good quality meals but these guys provided local produce meals that were equal to 5 star top-rated restaurants. I booked this for my wife and I on a trip around...

We stayed at Blue Lake Lodge for a birthday weekend. There were two couples in our group and this lodge was the perfect set up. We arrived on a crisp Spring day, after traveling through stunning country side, with a mandatory stop at the Bothwell pub. The log fire was crackling on our arrival and our rooms ready. My first...
