My partner though we should start my milestone birthday celebrations early and include a visit to Saffire. The beauty of Saffire is you can do as much or as little as possible, it is your choice. Really it is hard to fault the level of service, some reviewers complain about too much service or the drinks selection. We didn't have...

Saffire Lodge must be one of the top lodges in the world. I have been fortunate to have traveled extensively and stayed in many outstanding spots but Saffire certainly rates as one of the very best. The setting is beautiful. The rooms are truly fabulous with floor to ceiling windows and a beautiful patio, Bathrooms are large with double vanities...

We had two absolutely fabulous days here and they didn't put a foot wrong. From the moment we were met at the door with glasses of bubbly, until they sent us on our reluctant way with courtesy packs of Saffire water and crisp apples, it was an unforgettable experience. The signature suites are spacious and beautifully detailed - plenty of...

We were last here in 2011 soon after Saffire opened. Every bit as good as last time, superb, fantastic and delighted to be back. We had the Degustation Menu with matching wines last night and it was stunning in every aspect. Will be a pity to leave.

Spent three nights at Saffire, room #10, Alpha Centauri (all rooms are named). Was Saffire five-star in every respect? No. I'll get to the negatives later. Ninety-eight percent of all aspects did, however, deserve every bit of a five-star rating. You can go for a mile-plus walk on the beach and maybe see no one else. Kayaking, archery and clay...

My wife and I plus another couple stayed at Saffire for 2 nights On arrival the girls wished we had booked for 4 nights as the place is so lovely The bedrooms are first class and spacious which sets everything up for a great stay The staff are brilliant and the main complex delivers everything it says on the tin....

Amazing experience. Honestly just go. We stayed for three nights and with hindsight might have done four as there is so much to see and do. But on the bright side it means we can return. We were organised to within an inch of our lives as that is the way of the hotel. If you are not walking, kayaking...

Overpriced, overly-hyped with nice accommodations in a lovely setting. All-inclusive but truly awful, cheap food and poorly trained wait staff. (They couldn't even serve a decent cup of coffee)! A complete waste of money for what you're getting. They don't even have a swimming pool and the gym is marginal. I vote a resounding "no!"

I don't write comments often, but this Saffire do worth fo me to write and share with someone who want to go. Its definitely a great and never regret choices if you go to Tasmania and stay at their resort, it worth every penny you paid! As a top best resort stated in Tasmania, everything is excellent, but I should...

Reviews of places like Saffire basically focus on "whether it was worth it". You're paying $2200 a night, so any small things become bigger. Check in etc is smooth, and the staff in general are great. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed and have a fabulous view. Small niggles - the light in the closet/luggage rack area is much too dim,...
