If you want to visit Freycinet and spend time exploring the park this 4 day guided walk is truly a wonderful experience. As you'er driven into the park along the coast line you feel yourself escape into nature and begin to relax. And so begins the programme for the next 4 days. After a short boat ride to Schouten Island...

My wife and I joined a 4 day walk around Freycinet and each night we stayed at this lodge. There were hints of Frank Lloyd Wright in the design. Comfortable chairs, library, open fire, wood panelling and decks without railings. The rooms were in seperate cabins with about 4 large rooms each with a generous shared space featuring a wood...

I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful 4 day walking holiday. We were a group of 6 friends simply looking to spend some time together and do something different. We had varying fitness levels and none of us had ever done a walking holiday....... what could go wrong ??? Well absolutely nothing as it turns out. From the moment...

Thank you, Freycinet, for an excellent four days! We enjoyed the group of eight, the excellent guides (thanks, Sharna and Anthea), the wonderful fresh and tasty Tassie food (well done, Gill and Joh), and the great Tassie wines! We've wanted to do this walk for some years and we're glad we were able to make it this year. It's wonderful...

Freycinet Lodge delivered us the most amazing experience - a beautifully isolated forest location, where you go to sleep listening to the ocean waves. The walking trips are well balanced - forest and beach walks that are challenging yet within reach of most people. The guides are very friendly and knowledgeable, and all the staff can't do enough to make...

I am very happy we chose Freycinet Experience Walks for our 4 day hike through Freycinet. The walks were varied, accessed by boat some days and mini bus on others. There was hiking or fishing options on our first day or just lazing on the glorious and remote beach and after all of this a walk into our remote, architecturally...

Freycinet Experience offers total relaxation, wonderful scenery, excellent food and top-shelf staff. It is eco-tourism at its finest, being totally off-grid with no services (power is solar and water trucked in). I just cannot recommend this more highly to anyone seeking responsible yet delightful travel options in nature.
