Beautiful place to stay... The room was spacious and comfortable and had beautiful views of the grounds. Close to the beach and also lovely walking tracks to spend time there, but also close to other places to find things to do. The food there was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend to anyone :)

I stayed upstairs in a large very comfortable room with a magnificent view out to the sea and the national park beyond. As I was the only person eating in that evening, Sophie very kindly brought me a tray to my room. The food was delicious with local ingredients and veg from the garden and wine from their own winery....

The BEST part about staying @Hawley House has to be the food...it is awesome, freshly cooked, wholesome and generous. We just loved the dinners ( the best we have eaten in Tasmania thus far, even though also the most expensive) and the deserts are to die fotr too, even though, also absolutely @ the top, price-wise! Poor management of timing...

Great to hear you enjoyed your meal. Also great to hear that you enjoyed the room, the 'delightful house, staff and beautiful gardens'. Clarification for future guests, the meals are at the set advertised price of $55 for two courses (entree and main) with optional dessert for $12, which is generally considered good value for our guests, inclusive of garden...

Beautiful home built in the 1800's. Step back in time. This is an incredible place to stay when in Devonport. Such great reception upon arrival. Rooms are immaculate and everything is so well done. Can't say enough nice things about this place.

The service was the best part of our experience as all involved tried to do their best to make us feel comfortable but we had a leak from the roof dripping into the main lounge area that made the place smell pretty awful and had paint peeling from the ceiling and a front door that simply wouldn't close. Its pretty...

Hi Martin, I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay, and did not feel able to discuss your discontentment with us at the time. Unfortunately during your stay there was horizontal gale-force wind from the East as part of a huge storm that caused a lot of damage, floods and prolonged blackouts across all of South...

We stayed in the Stables King Loft for 3 nights. The room is quiet, clean and comfortable. The best thing about the place is the food. The dinner meals were the best we had while travelling for a month in Tasmania. The accommodation is close enough to Narawntapu, Latrobe, and Burnie for a day visit. The only problem we had...

A family home nestled at the end of the road with the grandeur history to match some of the best historical properties of Australia. The National Trust may be able to find some funds for this glorious piece of history. Leave some time to explore this working property and fully appreciate its size and place in Tasmanian history.
