I was very lucky to find Dannebrog Lodge when I realised I would need to stay in Devonport for an extra night (12/4/17. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was very clean, the internet speed was excellent, and the outside noise level was negligible . On top of that, breakfast was included in the price of the room. I have...

My wife and I stayed at Dannebrog Lodge for one night in late March during a road trip around Tasmania. Booking from New Zealand prior to the trip was easy and efficiently handled by Sally. Check-in was a breeze and we were given the front of house room overlooking the Tamar river. Being able to watch the Spirit of Tasmania...

We stayed at Dannebrog on two separate nights as we travelled to and from Melbourne on the Spirit of Tasmania. Our host, Jan, could not have been more helpful, and our stay was just great. The Lodge's location overlooks the river and the walking path along there is excellent. Breakfasts were generous and very tasty, and our room was clean,...

My family loved the quiet & big room with extra bunk beds in an extra room. The coffee and free cooked breakfast was great. The Spirit of Tasmania passes the window, so large & impressive. Exciting for the kids.

We stayed twice, at the beginning and end of our holiday, and can highly recommend Dannebrog. Comfortable, spacious and clean rooms. A very friendly welcome and most accommodating with me booking our first night a day early. A hearty breakfast is provided.

Very clean, value for money, very nice owner and very close to Spirit of Tasmania station port. On the morning of leaving back to Melbourne, the owner made us breakfast and told my son before we left to stand on the side of the ship facing the lodge so he would wave goodbuy and he actually did :-) The owner...

We received a text early in the day with the access codes to the hotels. We were delayed during the day so we arrived very late. When I let the owners know they left the lights on and the bedroom doors opened so we had not issues. Breakfast was included in the price and was very nice.

Great location quite close to everything without being in the busiest part of the town. We had a nice room overlooking the water. The staff are very pleasant and I would definitely go back again. Very reasonably priced considering breakfast was included in the cost.
