There is not much choices of accommodation in Cradle Mountain, it's a good choice to stay in a cottage that you could really back to the nature, surrounded by animals. Very lovely Pademelon. Love it Love it. The houseware is just fine. Bathroom, clean, big, just a bit running old. But not bothering us. Free Wifi - but seems have...

We found this accommodation very comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful and log fire in room great. Only issue was that for a short person the double bed was a bit high off ground. Easy drive to see Tasmanian devils feeding . The cost of access to visit the lake by national parks a bit dear especially if handicapped and...

We have stayed at Cradle Mountain Highlanders many times and always come back! We booked the Buttongrass, which may appear small from the outside but is big on the inside. Such a lovely place to stay - whenever we didn't go bushwalking, we were always relaxing in front of the woodfire and watching TV. Lovely and relaxing stay in a...

Stayed at Quoll Cottage for 2 nights and was just the most amazing experience! Gorgeous wee cabin in an enchanted moss covered wood. Arrived home after doing a 6km walk around Dove Lake on a rainy cold day, to find our fire lit for us...pademelons gambolling around the front of the cottage! Magical!

We stayed for a week in Tallowood. Cannot recommend this place more highly. Very comfortable, spacious and welcoming accommodation set apart from the other cabins. The photo on the site is Tallowood and we were so lucky to see it just like this, covered in snow. The staff are tremendous and friendly. We came home after a long drive to...

These logs cabins are cosy with log fires & comfortable sofas. The kitchens are well appointed and nicely furnished. Beds were soft with lovely new linen and the overall deco is perfect for that tucked away in the forest feeling. New managers Lisa & Brad we're very welcoming and could not have been more helpful, they even had our fire...

I led a group tour of 6 families, 30 people including 16 kids under 10years old (I'm nuts I hear you say!), right around Tasmania. The accommodation was second to none, THE best on the whole trip. It was very clean, quiet, and the cottages had everything we needed. What else can you ask for? Wood fire places in a...

Our second time at Cradle Mountain but first time at these cabins. We had the Ringtail cabin which was great with a great kitchenette, warm and comfortable double bed and lovely big gas heater which warmed up the cabin very quickly and stayed warm once the heater was turned off at night. The cabins are about 5 minutes drive from...

We stayed in the Ringtail cabin. It was our favourite accomodation on our holiday. Clean with kitchen facilities, gas log fire and very comfortable bed.We pre-booked a breakfast package which was very generous and arranged to have a bottle of Tasmania bubbly waiting for us too. Close to shuttle bus to visit Dove Lake and Cradle Mountain and not far...
