The stay was full of excitement and joy! We stayed in Ringtail in early April, the room is exceptionally clean, comfy and welcoming! The kitchenette is fully equipped with all we need. Friendly staff, great location! Love it!

Loved this place. Not overly modern but who wants that when staying in an authentic log cabin. Everything we needed was on-hand. Managers fixed the heat light failure promptly and were very friendly and professional. Beds comfy, plenty of fire wood, friendly animals, although a possum had learnt to tap at the front door. How's that for adaption? We would... More

My wife and I had 3 nights in "Woodsmoke", a basic yet clean and comfy cottage with a great wood fire and plenty of fuel. And we needed it - sleet and high winds!! The best of the furnishings was the king size bed - comfy, warm and inviting. The kitchen and lounge/dining are modestly furnished, yet provide all one... More

Situated conveniently close to the Cradle Mountain Information Centre (from where the shuttle buses leave for Dove Lake and stop-offs) our 'Snow Gum' cottage was perfect. And a nice touch? On arrival the wood heater was going and the place cosy. We were fortunate with clear fine days and yes, we could see Cradle Mountain from our bedroom. A Pademelon... More

This was our second stay at Cradle Mountain Highlanders, we enjoyed it so much the first time, we really wanted to return. We stayed in "Brushtail" which was lovely, and well set up for people with a disability. The cabin was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The gas fire heated the place beautifully - much needed to dry off! The... More

We stayed in the Wombat, one bedroom cabin. Rustic but very comfortable had everything we needed, including cooking facilities we used for dinner. Also very close to the bus stop for park access. The owner was very helpful, lots of good advice and insight. Only 2 things I'd say to be aware of is the free Wi-Fi doesn't last long... More

We stayed in the Currawong for 1 night which is a 2 Bedroom cottage. The place is easy to find as it is literally opposite the visitor centre. They have good SMS communication to let you know when your room is ready on the day. And in our case, it was ready a little earlier and we certainly appreciated the... More

We stayed in Tallow Wood and we couldn't have picked a more beautiful place to stay. We were so impressed with the couple of texts we received leading up to Cradle Mountain letting us know our accommodation was ready for check in and to get supplies on the way if we were self catering. We were met on arrival by... More

We stayed 2 nights at the Highlanders Cottages in Woodsmoke. This was an appropriate name, as it had a wood burning fireplace in it. It was nicely isolated from the other cottages, as all the cotteges are. But it's only a very short walk to the visitor center and the shuttle buses. Sharon and Ian were very helpful with our... We stayed two nights in the Brushtail cottage and it was amazing. It was very comfortable, with a very efficient gas heater to keep the cold at bay. Extraordinarily quiet surrounds, you wouldn't know there were any other guests or cottages nearby. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need for self catering. The hosts are very friendly... More
