Wonderful stay in a delightfully secluded spa cabin for 2 over New Years Eve. Spacious and luxurious with every convenience on hand. Close proximity to amazing walks and wilderness. Definitely a romantic escape . Wildlife outside the door.

This was our second stay in the Village. Both times the accommodation has been delightful. The units are clean, well equipped and quiet. They are built with privacy in mind and sitting on the balcony you don't feel as if you are impinging on other cabins.

There are about 5 places to stay in Cradle Mtn (ranging from camping to the lodge). We chose a spa cottage at the Wilderness Village which is lovely. A balcony with small BBQ, adequate kitchenette, gas heater and electric blankets. The cottages are in groups of 3 sharing a common driveway but designed so you feel you are looking out...

The village is well set out, with cabins close but quite private. The cabins are very well appointed, very comfortable and close to the visitors' centre. My only slightly negative was the breakfast hamper could have been a little more imaginative, I have never tried Coco Pops and probably won't ever again, a couple of fresh eggs in there would...

Arrived late for our 2 night stay, and the reception staff had made arrangements to leave our key out with instructions on where our cabin was, We were couples travelling together, and had a 2 bedroom spa unit. Whilst the cabins are far from new, they are extremley well kept, and nice and clean.Complex had coin operated washer/dryers, which came...

Stayed here for 2 nights with my partner in a spa cottage. Lovely big space, spa bath, well equipped kitchenette, living, balcony with electric BBQ and comfortable king bed. The reception area has a selection of DVDs you can borrow and watch at no cost. The water is treated so that it is safe to drink but still has a...

After reading TA reviews, we were expecting Basil Fawlty, we did not find the reception staff rude at all. Very matter of fact, straight to the point, gave us the information we needed without gushing. Loved our deluxe spa cottage, once we put down a couple of blinds we were surrounded by this truly unspoilt wilderness. The visitors centre is...

We stayed in a cabin with a spa bath which was great after the long walks around the area. The room was very modern, clean and well fitted out and having the privacy of your own space was so different to a standard motel/hotel. Even on a very cold summer's day, the gas fired wood heater was a special treat....

We stayed here 15 years ago and it still lives up to its 5 star reputation. The apartments/cabins are roomy, clean and have a beautiful view of the Tasmanian wilderness. The beds have electric blankets and the heating is adequate. We ate at the restaurant on site. The meals were delicious although very pricey!!! We saw lots of wildlife right...

We have stayed here many times during the winter months. The cabins are spacious, and although some are positioned near each other, they offer good privacy set amongst the natural bush. The cabins are clean, beds are comfortable, and excellent water pressure in the shower with plenty of hot water. Small kitchen, microwave, cook top, well stocked for preparing simple...
