Upon arrival we were advised that we had our room upgraded which we thought was lovely. The room however, faced the road and was very noisy and the pillowcase was dirty. Not sure that this was an upgrade. We asked for a quieter room which was approved but the new room had hair on the towel. Cleaning left a lot...

Thank you for your time to review us. I'm glad to hear our staff are trying to upgrade where possible. Unfortunately it seems something we askew with the pillow case. We have our own on-site laundry and I have passed your experience onto our cleaning staff. We wash all linen daily and it seems, with regret, a hair has gotten...

Travelled to Burnie with a friend for a Breast Cancer Seminar & chose this venue for our 2 nights due to its close proximity to the Function Centre. In hindsight, it was a costly mistake! There is nothing about this place that warrants the $175 per night price tag - not even the view of the ocean. The first train...

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately over the years the train has been a thorn in our side. Some drivers can be so much quieter than others. We apologize for the noise that woke you. Our Sea View suites are our most popular hence the higher price. Our restaurant prices are very similar, if not better, to others of the...

Thank you for your review. I am glad to hear that you found our suites clean and comfortable. We do have some Standard suites we offer at a cheaper price than our Executive Sea View suites.

We stayed here for a night while I was working in town. The motel is in the city centre near quite a number of quality restaurants. The place is not much to look at from the outside but the rooms are spacious and well-equipped. Our room overlooked the sea and had excellent amenities including a great shower in a modernised...

Thank you for the time taken for your review. Our property is well liked for its central location. We are glad to hear you enjoyed your breakfast. Due to the shape of the motel some suites do have a weaker wifi signal than most

Thank you for your review. We have just recently completely renovated the oldest bathrooms in the suites you mention. All carpets were recently steam cleaned at the time of the renovation. Noise can be a factor at times due to our central location on the Main st. Sorry for any inconvenience.

With little accommodation available due to Burnie Show, managed to get 1st floor Executive Room which fronted onto the waterfront. Thinking this would end up being a sleepless night, I was surprised. Loved the sound of the waves and even the shunting of the 5am train didn't bother me. Room was clean, bed very comfortable. Free WiFi was a bonus!...

Friendly staff who gave great customer service. Rooms were clean and ocean view was amazing.Central location with bar and restaurant onsite. Other restaurants close by and short walk to shops. Beach board walk with activities for the kids ( play equipment and water features) located nearby. Quiet location even though train track is located across the road.

I struggled to choose a place to stay in Burnie based on reviews on Trip advisor but settled for this one. It's okay, clean and tidy but dated and nothing like the photos. I paid corporate rate of $150 for something a bit better and the room was huge and clean enough to not modernised at all. FYI Optus coverage...
