I can only echo the previous reviewer. Everything here is excellent. we received a lovely welcome and found our cabin absolutely delightful. Stylish decor, immaculately presented with every little detail carefully thought out.
Be sure to eat down the road at the Bronte Park Hotel.

Hi, planning a trip to Hobart and on to Strahan at end of June this year and was wondering if the roads at that time of year are safe to travel on or is there a lot of snow around, especially the road into Queenstown

Road conditions will vary daily. You may get anything from bright sun and dry roads through to road closures due to snow. The highway is narrow and for mainlanders can be quite daunting in terms of corners. Exercise common... More
Road conditions will vary daily. You may get anything from bright sun and dry roads through to road closures due to snow. The highway is narrow and for mainlanders can be quite daunting in terms of corners. Exercise common sense and if conditions are damp and cold be wary of ice and black ice. Shadows over roads can also hide slippery conditions. If you get a clear blue sky day, the views are spectacular.
