Due to a flat tyre we were forced to make an unplanned stop in Oberon on a Sunday afternoon. I phoned Irene and she very kindly offered accommodation despite the fact that she was also hosting a small party. Sunsets is a lovely home - spacious with beautiful furniture. Irene and her party guests made us feel very welcome. The...

This accommodation was impossible to fault. It has a fantastic outlook over the golf course and Lake Oberon particularly at sunset.. Bedrooms are tastefully furnished with excellent linen and very comfortable beds. Additionally there is a huge amount of lounge and recreation space including a full size billiard table, separate TV and media rooms all of which is unusual for...

We planned a short notice family trip and stayed at Sunsets after a busy day at Jenolan Caves. We were welcomed by Irene who showed us to our interconnecting rooms with a shared ensuite which was the perfect set up for us with the kids. The heaters were on and it was lovely and warm. Our breakfast orders were taken...

My girlfriend and I came to the blue mountains for one overnight to see the Jenolan caves. After a bit of research on the blue mountains accommodation site we found sunsets. We absolutely loved it. Quite small with two queen rooms and one family room which made it very cozy. Also had a really nice back patio overlooking a golf...

Sunsets at Oberon is a fine place to stay if you love old wares, antiques, etc. At short notice we had the ‘family room’, it was rather cramped with little room to open our cases or store baggage, the family bathroom is also a tight squeeze – especially for a family. However, Irene is a wonderful host and served a...

Stayed 2 nights with Irene in her very comfortable and warm home overlooking Oberon Lake and golf course. Breakfasts were yummy and Irene very helpful with local places of interest. Especially Mayfield Garden. Will review that separately.

My wife and I wanted a quiet few days to relax away from home and a friend recommended Sunsets at Oberon, a beautiful guest house / BnB overlooking Oberon lake on the western edge of the Blue Mountains area. What great advice. Irene is a wonderful host. The house is imaculately presented and sits on a ridge looking west into...

We just enjoyed a great weekend in Oberon with friends that was enhanced by a night at Sunsets. Upon arrival our greeting by Irene was only overshadowed by the crackling log fire. The view over the lake is gorgeous and exemplifies why we ended up in Oberon in the first place. The rooms are comfortable and warm, even without using...

Unassuming at the front and a big surprise once inside. Inviting host, really comfortable beds and rooms, spacious. All modern amenities. Classically decorated with many Victoria pieces, privacy. Great view from the back deck of Oberon lake and the surrounding country side. Wildlife roaming along unfazed. A few minutes from Oberon town. Great place to just relax. Can't speak highly...

My partner organised a surprise romantic weekend away which turned out to be in Oberon at Irene's lovely B&B. We had a lovely stay and Irene was the perfect host. The beds were lovely as were the breakfasts. You can walk down to the main street from the accommodation. It is a good base to explore the area with Jenolan...
