I took my family here for dinner mid-week, first time we have been here. The meal was, to be honest, amazing, and well beyond what I was expecting in Mt Vic. The menu is varied and interesting, and offers meals for herbi and carnivores, all reasonably priced. We had steaks done to perfection salmon to die for, home made pasta...

We travelled as a family and thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and although our particular room had not yet been renovated, we had a sneak peek at one of the completed rooms and it was beautiful, and very tasteful. The Manor is full of old world charm and finishes. We stayed in the two...

Stayed one night and wished it was longer. The Manor House has a feel about it of a bygone era. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was of course, spacious and the double bed very comfortable. The bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water for a shower. The breakfast was the usual eggs and bacon but, what...

Hello paza37, Thank you for your lovely review. We source local produce for our breakfasts and all other meals in the restaurant and aim for 'non fatty' bacon. The eggs are from the chooks and are also delicious. Denise & Garry

We booked in for a Saturday night along with another couple and had an absolute blast. The building is so beautiful and is being restored in a sympathetic but stylish manner. We stayed in room 8 (which is yet to be restored) but was really nice and included a small verandah. The toiletries are really lovely and we even received...

Very helpful and friendly hosts. Very family friendly. Enjoyed relaxing in the grounds. Good breakfast and large family rooms. Also go on Mt Dan's Adventure when you are staying in Blue Mountains to see the kangeroos in the wild

Our room was very pretty, and our bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in! Location of this hotel is excellent- just a few minutes walk to train station, and close by lots of world- class bush walks. The building itself is just beautiful, but the real appeal of this place is the staff: all are exceptionally hospitable and...

As you walk into the Mt Victoria Manor building there's an undeniable walk down the history lane feel to it. Creaking floors, high ceilings, big rooms with fireplaces and maize-like hallways. Sydney's Blue Mountains are full of quaint buildings offering "old world charm". However I have found that "charm" is never in the bricks of a building itself but in...

We stayed a night at Mount Victoria Manor on the way to a hiking trip in the Blue Mountains. The property is currently undergoing some renovations but our room was lovely and the bed (especially the pillows!) super comfortable! We didn't eat at the restaurant as it was closed on the night we were there but the affable owner Garry...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Mount Victoria Manor, once the weekend residence of J.R. Fairfax was built in 1876 on the most commanding point at Mount Victoria. Mount Victoria Manor is a magnificent, rambling edifice constructed on solid stone foundations, embellished architecturally with cedar fittings, leather ceilings and highly decorative anaglypta wallpaper. Currently undergoing a renovation with the theme 'Heritage with a Twist' it has retained its impressive qualities, combined with an ambiance you can feel as you walk in the front door. The onsite restaurant 'Coopers' serves hearty country food using as much local produce as possible. Our herbs are delivered daily by a local gardener who works with our team to create fresh wholesome food. Our bar has a Spanish feel and serves tapas style food just perfect to eat whilst sitting in front of one of our open fires. Mount Victoria Manor is situated in a small 19th century village. The house has 13 en-suite rooms and 3 apartments all individually decorated with queen or king ensembles, feather doonas and electric blankets. All rooms have en-suites and the apartments have a shared bathroom within each unit. Our gardens are also undergoing a renovation and we have plans for a kitchen garden and we are rejuvenating our orchard. ... more   less
