Beautiful gardens and a lovely atmosphere, the fireplace was so nice and the twin joined rooms were perfect for families, there is also a cute little front courtyard. The garden at the back has a lake and a beautiful little forest. Only cons were that there are people living above us were a little noisy, and the breakfast buffet wasn't...

The hotel is set in beautiful with gardens and a lake and it is a pleasure to walk around the property. The property is ideally placed for those who wish to undertake the number of walks in the Blue Mountains. Unfortunately the hotel did not offer evening meals. However I understand that they will do so in the future.

We stayed 4 nights at this property in April and what a delight it was. The room - I should say the suite - was comfortable and spacious with a good internet connection. It was a pleasure getting back to it after a walk in the mountains every day. The location of the hotel is second to none as there...

The Accommodation, individual cottages, are niched in magnificent parklands. Celebrating our 15th Wedding Anniversary this May, we fully enjoyed the warm fall colours, the majestic trees. We stayed in a cottage, ground floor. Very large room, perfectly appointed: it looked straight out one of my wife's Indoor Living magazines. French doors and windows, gas fire (made to look like the real...

Stayed here for one night. Room was very pleasant, on top floor and very quiet. It is a fair walk to the town centre but quite a pleasant one (thankfully a thunderstorm had just passed before we set off). Blackheath itself is not that appealing though it does have a few eateries. We turned up with a reservation at Ashcrofts...

We were welcomed warmly by Marcus and his colleagues. They couldn't do enough to make our stay pleasant. Loved the fireplace and the sitting out areas. Garden just lovely and walk to Govett's Leap a pleasant 20 minute stroll. Blackheath, about the same distance in the other direction. We had just come from a busy hotel in Leura, so this...

I can't rave enough about this hotel. It is beautiful, the room was super comfortable with nice decorations. We stayed in a room overlooking the gardens and it feels great to be waking up to such a view. The food at the restaurant was fantastic. The staff was friendly (contrary to some reviews) . We loved exploring the area early...

Our family of 2 adults & 2 teenagers greatly enjoyed a 3 night stay at Parklands this week. The property consists of a main building (reception, dining/lounge area, day spa) and 7 cottages (each with 2 garden suites downstairs & 2 loft suites upstairs) set amongst beautiful gardens and rolling lawns. In the older 3 cottages the suites are spacious...

We stayed in a loft room and while the room itself is comfortable and the hotel gardens are stunning, the service leaves a lot to be desired. Negatives: - Check-in in strictly at 3pm. We arrived at 2pm and were told check-in is at 3pm and to come back then. I have never experienced this at a hotel before. -...

Dear Courtneyann, Warm greetings from Parklands Country Gardens & Lodges. Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback following your recent stay with us. Our guaranteed check-in time is 3pm. We are more than happy to accommodate early arrivals in their rooms if the rooms are ready. Sometimes this is not possible and our 3pm check in time...

Be careful if your plans change, as the hotel showed a distinct lack of empathy when we attempted to change a $450 (not cancel) reservation at admittedly short notice due to family emergency. Poor customer service as the hotel itself is likely very nice - we would have loved to have stayed in the future but will not anymore.
