Recently visited here for a weekend away and out of the city - got it as a last minute deal for a good price so did not know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised at every turn. Arrived after car, jumped out of the car and the first thing that hit me was the clear mountain air with a...

We booked a 2 night stay in a cabin, the aim was to explore the Blue Mountains and get away from the city. Upon arrival our key to the cabin was waiting for us and the fire was set up and roaring upon entering, perfect for the cool, crisp night. The facilities where quite adequate for our stay with the...

We spent 2 nights in this bueatiful escape. The cabin provided all we needed and with the secluded feel but not far from adventure. We BBQ the first night and found the BBQ area clean and working perfectly. The slow combustion fire in our cabin was perfect and all other facilities were clean and well kept. The compost toilet was...

Jemby-Rinjah is located in a remote location but not too far away from the tourist, residential area & close to the start of excellent walking/trekking trails - the cabin was spotelssly clean, basically equipped but had all the essentials & even the infamous compost toilet was hygenic and quite acceptable. The staff were courteous & helpful. I'll certainly be returning...

We had a lovely couple of days here. The cabins are very simple, no air-conditioning, composting toilets but this is compensated by the great location - right in the bush and parrots everywhere! Some great walks right on your doorstep. Be prepared though, the walking is not for beginners and a reasonable level of fitness is required. 2 days not...

Fantastic location but the cabin was very basic and obviously not used for some time as it was riddled with spiders, bugs and other insects. (expect some insects due to bush setting but not to that level) Several lights along the pathway were not working making it difficult to find your way around the property after dark. Check in after...

We stayed in a one bedroom villa. Absolutely stunning location but very very basic lodge. Evans Lookout is amazing! Lots of walking trails. Plenty of wildlife near cabins. We heard animals running across our roof, found a giant spider or two near our bed hiding in curtains and gorgeous birds all around. (I've been told it's normal for Huntsman spiders...

On the plus side, the bush location is absolutely beautiful and it is only a short drive to Blackheath and Evans look out. It was nice to arrive to a fire already going and a good supply of wood (though we had to source kindling ourselves). We saw lots of crimson rosellas and king parrots. The bathroom was clean and...

Arrived late in a snowstorm, which was a great start to the weekend, the kids loved it. Manager braved the elements to show us to our cabin, which was warmed by the wood heater already burning. Next morning had snow on the ground in a lovely woodland setting. Quite a few cabins but far enough separated so you feel privacy....

The Jemby-Rinjah Eco Lodge is located a few kilometers from the village of Blackheath. All you need to do is bring your own food for a self catering stay. If you prefer to go into Blackheath for dinner there are several cafes and bars there. The lodge is very close to some nice walking trails and there is a lot...
