Best thing we did on this trip to the Grand Mayan in Nuevo Vallarta was to turn our day trip to Yelapa into an overnight adventure!
From the moment we contacted Hotel Lagunita until the moment we left Yelapa to return to the Grand Mayan,...More
Me and my partner went to celebrate our anniversary and we had the most memorable time!! I asked them to reserve a table on the beach with candles and flowers and they did a GREAT job!! We will definitely go back.

Our bungalow was one of the ones further out by the pier but not on it like you mention. I think the ones on the pier would be fine. There will be people passing by when boats unload. But when we were there, there was really only one big offload/reload a day. So not quite private but also not super busy. Yelapa beach is so awesome! And we loved Lagunitas. Hope this helps :)
