It was everything I expected and then some. We arrived to this hillside Eden in the evening and was welcomed by the beautiful Jesse Rose, moonlight, twinkle lights and an inviting warm summer breeze. The gardens are lush and beautiful and our room was so comfortable. I just found my new home away from home. I will be back many...

To start we stayed in casa corona. A very nicely placed palapa, with a wonderful view of the ocean with the jungle at your door step. Service is very good, the rooms are kept clean as well as the grounds. Jesse rose will fill all reasonable requests and make a variety of arrangements for you so you can enjoy your...

We stayed here for three nights, which was not enough in my opinion. there is an interesting group of expats that live in the town, and have a small bar/restaurant in walking distance from the Casa de los Suenos. Our beds were super comfy, the nets helped keep the bugs where they belonged...not on us, and the kitchenette served us...

My wife and I have been joining a group of friends for a visit to Yelapa and Casa de los Suenos for seven years now. The group has changes, but the town has become a familiar welcoming place. I'm very pleased with the recent change of ownership at Casa de los Suenos. Jesse Rose and Luis are very hospitable and...

Casa de Los Suenos is the perfect Yelapa retreat. The casas are pristine, bright, and filled with thoughtful decor. The owners are professional, friendly, and full of great advice for a memorable and rejuvenating vacation. One thing we loved about Casa de los Suenos was the incredible tropical abundance. The flowering plants, mango trees, and coconuts were amazing. We woke...

I loved this place. Nestled between the jungle and the turquoise sea, each casita is unique, lovely and private. The proprietors know Yelapa extremely well and they are fantastic guides to what to do there: the best swimming, fish tacos, margaritas, fishing, etc. Yelapa is only accessible by water taxi and so there are no cars: no traffic, no honking,...

We just got back from our 10 days in Yelapa and had the best family vacation ever! The views at Casas de Los Suenos are amazing. The property is nestled into the tropical jungle with several options for rooms, perfect for couples, families or even large groups. There is a main house that is a lovely place to hang out...

This is a wonderful place to get away from it all. Yelapa is a great escape itself, and Casas de los Suenos offers a jungle hide-a-way with good creature comforts. The casas, of which we only saw Corona del Sol (our home, 120 steps up from the road) are very comfortable and nicely refurnished - clearly a labor of love....

We had a great time staying at Casas de los Suenos! The knowledgeable and friendly hosts helped us find great places to eat and things to do in Yelapa. The accomodations had a great conneciton with the beautiful jungle surroundings without being too rustic, complete with bathrooms and mini-kitchens. Yelapa was a very relaxed and fun place to visit., with...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Coming around the bend on the water taxi into the bay of Yelapa, whether it be for the first or for the hundredth time, is one of the most magical moments you'll ever feel. Yelapa is a place to come for total relaxation and adventure combined. Paths instead of roads, boats instead of buses, a symphony of ocean waves, tropical birds, roosters, donkeys and more, all combine to make Yelapa feel like a place out of time, a true tropical paradise. Casa de los Sueños is conveniently located just off the main path up river from the pueblo of Yelapa. Nestled in manicured jungle gardens, perched above the lagoon, it is an easy three minute river crossing to the beach. Los Sueños boasts a rich history full of wild characters and world class travelers. Built up in the 70s by the Shapiro family, the property has been a meeting place for actors, musicians, and artists since its beginning. After 40 years in the community, it was a natural extension for the Roberts family to takeover the property in 2011 and continue the Los Sueños tradition. ... more   less

“The Corona bungalow is my favorite but is about 100 stairs from the lobby to the top, but so worth the privacy and the view. Bring a head light because the Casita and town do get dark at night. There is electricity in the casita at night but not during the day. Bring a beach towel and your own toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, razor) because they're not provided.”
