I had the pleasure of staying at Casa de Los suenos, December 4-10. A group of us arrived in Puerta Vallarta on Saturday then took a boat over to Yelapa on Sunday to take part in a Pilates retreat led by Ruthie Scott. Casa de Los suenos is family owned and operated, we were welcomed by Jesse Rose Roberts and...

This is not a Vallarta Adventures day trip. This is only for the adventurous. If you like the real thing-as in visiting a village only accessible by water taxi; Suenos is it. Beautifully wild, plenty of places to eat and be entertained. Just be aware the main transportation is donkey, horse and ATV. So you'll be dodging the donkey dung...

I stayed in casa grande in los suenos for a couple of days. What an amazing view! It's a gem, a beautiful spot but you have to be up for an adventure. Lots of open spaces that give you the real jungle feeling while staying here. Lots of animals around. There is a restaurant but I'm not sure if it's...

Thank you for choosing to stay with us and taking the time to review us. We hope you enjoyed the adventure and lovely nature. We actually don't have a restaurant but do a happy hour, private dinners, events and offer breakfast upon request. We hope to offer more services in the future. Saludos!

We stayed in Casa Buena Vista for a week while at a yoga retreat at the Sky Temple. Great king size bed, fantastic view of the Yelapa beach and bay. By 'step back' I mean open air shower, big windows with no glass or screens (shutters on the windows offer nighttime barrier to moths and some privacy from the jungle.)...

My wife and I spent an incredible six days at Casa de los Sueños for the holidays. We were fortunate enough to have reserved Casa Corona, which is an open air palapa that sits over the whole property, nestled in the jungle, with a view of the bay. It has always been my fantasy to sleep in a king sized...

One of the best experiences of Yelapa is sleeping under a palm thatch roof, a 'palapa.' At Casa de Los Suenos all of the rooms are still traditional palapas elegantly constructed. I could lay in the hammock or wake in the morning and stare up at the beautiful weaving of the roof. With no real windows , just half walls,...

We stayed in the Corona which was the furthest Bungalow but offered the most privacy. The open (wall-less) Bungalow was so fun and looking over the jungle canopy while having a spectacular view of the ocean was breath taking. We were far enough away from the center of town to not hear all the music that often occurs at different...

We found this place after a lot of searching and emailing with various casita owners. Everyone knows everyone so if you ask enough, you will find a place. We stayed in Buena Vista and Rustica. The shower in BV has an ocean view! Rustica was also great but less private and right off the main house. Everyone was really considerate...

We had a great time in this beautiful property in the heart of a luxurious nature. We spent 5 nights in three of its houses (casa grande, casa buena vista and casa Neo) and everyone of us, from 10 to 70 years old, loved it. Too bad it's so far from France but i'm sure we'll find a way to...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Coming around the bend on the water taxi into the bay of Yelapa, whether it be for the first or for the hundredth time, is one of the most magical moments you'll ever feel. Yelapa is a place to come for total relaxation and adventure combined. Paths instead of roads, boats instead of buses, a symphony of ocean waves, tropical birds, roosters, donkeys and more, all combine to make Yelapa feel like a place out of time, a true tropical paradise. Casa de los Sueños is conveniently located just off the main path up river from the pueblo of Yelapa. Nestled in manicured jungle gardens, perched above the lagoon, it is an easy three minute river crossing to the beach. Los Sueños boasts a rich history full of wild characters and world class travelers. Built up in the 70s by the Shapiro family, the property has been a meeting place for actors, musicians, and artists since its beginning. After 40 years in the community, it was a natural extension for the Roberts family to takeover the property in 2011 and continue the Los Sueños tradition. ... more   less

“The Corona bungalow is my favorite but is about 100 stairs from the lobby to the top, but so worth the privacy and the view. Bring a head light because the Casita and town do get dark at night. There is electricity in the casita at night but not during the day. Bring a beach towel and your own toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, razor) because they're not provided.”
