Just spent 2 days here as my daughter was getting married in the village everything was so relaxing and Susie and Howard couldn't have been more friendly Breakfast was excellent and on the day of the wedding let us use the garden room for hair and makeup and the coffee kept coming. Nothing was any trouble So thank you both...

A large and lovely old cottage converted into the traditional English B&B at it's best. Owned by Susie and Howard who cannot do enough for you. Very reasonable charges, large airy rooms, and a superb breakfast conservatory make this a must if you are in the area. Breakfast itself, cooked by Susie, is generous and superb. The large beautifully tended...

We stayed for 2 nights in the small double room as we were attending a wedding nearby. The room was a good size and very comfortable, with everything we needed. There was a bath with hand held shower which was fine for a short stay. Our hosts were very friendly and we enjoyed sitting out in the glorious garden on...

Beautifully quiet location in pretty historic village. Wonderfully welcoming at short notice. Cooked perfect boiled eggs for breakfast (not as easy or commonplace as it seems!) Room, a shepherd's "caravan", had everything in it. A complete pleasure.

We stayed two nights in a lovely room overlooking the beautiful garden. The bed was very large and comfortable, the breakfast super delicious and the hosts very welcoming and friendly. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. One of those places that remain part of holiday memories long after the faceless hotel chains are long forgotten.

We stayed in The Shepherd's Hut in the garden of this delightful house. Susie's attention to detail here only added to our stay. This quirky Hut had all mod cons & was fitted out beautifully & the addition of a bowl of fresh fruit, fresh flowers, chocolates, Rennies (!) ets etc made us sad it was only for 1 night....

I want to say a huge thank you to Susie and Howard for their hospitality, support and attention to detail over the past weekend as the brides' party took over their home. They made us all so welcome and even gave up their own room for us. They fed us, listened to us, regaled us with stories, allowed us to...

We have just spent 2 lovely days at Penfolds to celebrate a special birthday. Susie and Howard were generous hosts friendly, warm and attentive. This is a wonderful area for walkers with a great pub nearby. We hope to return one day to this special place in the heart of the Sussex Downs.
