Agree with other reviewers that rooms are comfortable, and well maintained. For the price charged, we expected the room to have wow factor, but it didn't quite hit the spot: bed was short, and we are average height, there was only a shower over the bath, and no view to speak of, although the area was lovely. I think the...

A lovely gem in the countryside and a great find. Room was warm and comfortable, really helpful staff, nothing too much trouble. The restaurant offered a wide choice to suit all. I had tasty beer battered fish and chips washed down with a quality wine. Mmmmmm!!!! We'll worth a stay for a weekend. We will return to explore the local...

3 friends and I decided to take a trip out to the Halfway Bridge Inn for a meal. We had booked but arrived a little early. On arrival the place was empty, we called out several times and in the end helped ourselves to a table (could have been more). We eventually found someone to serve us drinks. Menu looked...

We recently met up with some friends at this lovely Inn. We had booked an overnight stay as well as dinner but as we arrived in the car park our hearts sunk. The Inn was situated on a fairly busy main road. However much to our delight the gorgeous bedrooms are situated across the road from the main building and...

I stayed here one night pre Glorious Goodwood, as my normal accommodation was not available. How pleased I was that I chose this small and welcoming country inn. The room (I had a deluxe room) was gorgeous, very spacious with a small lounge area, and had what I can describe as one of the most confortable beds that I have...

Having booked weeks in advance and confirmed days before also mentioning it was a honeymoon stay I was stunned to be told when we arrived that they had a computer problem. Due to this there was a double booking and so they had booked us into the Angel in Midhurst. As an apology we were offered a free meal and...

We stayed here for a perfect weekend break. The immaculate accommodation in a converted Barn, over the road from the pub, gave guests a wonderful sense of privacy with the advantage of our own pub /restaurant on the doorstep. The rooms were tastefully furnished and well equipped with very comfy beds. The staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful, The restaurant...

I was originally trying to book into Crab & Lobster and was disappointed to find it full so was delighted to see they had a sister pub/hotel. Halfway Bridge Inn was a delight from the moment we arrived. Picturesque setting, peace, quiet, gorgeous decor and welcoming staff greeted us. Delicious food for breakfast lunch and dinner (I recommend the haddock...
