We spent a romantic, anniversary weekend away in this beautiful classical, and comfortable hotel. We managed to book the Pullman carriage and we were not disappointed. The Old Railway Station boasts every attention to detail, and it was a welcoming, comfortable stay where we felt we had stepped back in time with plenty of railway memorabilia around, alongside a high...

The Old Railway Station is a GREAT place to stay. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by hot drinks and a friendly welcome. Our carriage was beautifully restored and was very warm and cosy. We stayed in Flora 2. Breakfast is superb, fresh fruit, juices, cereal, freshly baked rolls and croissant, delicious - finishing with a full English...

Having travelled on the Briitish Pullman on a number of occasions and also the Simplon to Venice, when we first saw this venue advertised we felt an excuse should be found to visit. A birthday was immanent and we booked accordingly. On arrival we had a friendly greeting and given afternoon coffee then shown to our compartment. It seemed well...

Perfect for anyone, particularly if interested in railways. We stayed here for my father's 80th birthday. We had a great time and the old railway style detail is great. Good service and a very short walk to the local pub that does great food.

What a special place! It was a perfect start to 2017. The Old Railway Station is one of the most unique places I have ever stayed in. Everyone was amazing and super friendly. The carriages are cozy and sooo special. The Cream tea and Breakfast was lush. Loved it!! Want to go back!

Upon arrival for our overnight stay we were greeted warmly by Chrissie who took the time to show us around, something rarely done by hotels, the staff preferring to stand behind reception and issue directions. The Pullman was amazing, spotlessly clean, well furnished and warm. We enjoyed our complimentary tea, coffee and shortbread,a very welcome touch. Lyn greeted us and served our breakfast which was...

Stayed for two nights at this lovely old railway station. We chose the ground floor room in the Station house, as this has the easiest access and is modern, warm and spacious. We still enjoyed the ambience of the station with the four Pullman cars, two each side of the island platform. Our room had a clean well-lit en-suite walk-in...
