Stayed for one night to attend a family memorial lunch the following day. Booked a family room but had to request bedding for extra bed. We also had to ask for another mug and extra coffee as the room was set for two people only. However, the items were brought to the room promptly. The room was of adequate size,...

The title is really confusing. This is Travelodge Arundel Fontwell, across the roundabout from Travelodge Arundel Fontwell Park, and absolutely not in Bognor. The roundabout joins the A27 and A29 and the lodge is on the 'Fontwell services' behind the garage. There is also a Burger King and Little Chef so all needs are there; that said, we went to...

I can't believe we paid £60 to stay in a room that was more like a hostel. Although the room was clean, the service was definitely lacking. We had booked 3 family rooms but when we asked at reception to have the sofa bed made up, the receptionist said no, they don't make them up. I don't know if she'd...

This lodge can be found off the A27 next to a Little Chef and a Burger King. We chose this because any similar accomodation nearer to Brighton/Bognor/Worthing did not have car parking or the car park would take 6 cars on a first come first served basis. The on street parking in this region is charged 10 minutes at a...

Generally, you think Travelodge hotels are of a certain standard - pretty basic but clean and good value. Not so in this case - it was filthy, the rooms stank of cigarettes, the bed dipped in the middle making an uncomfortable nights sleep, and the bathroom was so grimy we didn't shower the next day for fear of coming out...

The hotel was okay. Easy enough to find from the A27 and good distance to Arundel where we had to go for a party. Saying that, we only paid £45 for a family room and for that the bed was comfy enough and the room a good size but it certainly could do with a refurb in the bathroom. It...

Finding the place on the A27 was relatively easy, it would have been even easier if the Travelodge bore signs as well as its neighbouring Shell petrol station; Burger King and Little Chef. Check-in was quick, efficient and smooth. Room 17 was usual Travelodge standard - Clean, functional and no-frills, but the bathroom was in need of redecoration and updating....

I very much hope this Hotel is not an example of Travelodges 'cost cutting'. Paid £54 for a 1 night stay here in a room which was not really worth that. Receptionist was unsmiling and indifferent. The hotel is generally scruffy and our room was likewise. The electrical towel rail had had its cable cut off and the pay tv...
