Managed to park out front however was a long way to room through lots of old looking corridors. The room looked so dated I thought I may have been on a 70s set beds very good tho Also a macc ds next door a kebab and pizza place and a wetherspoon type place opposite ideal location for me as just... My wife and I stayed here for one night en route to Motorcycle Live at the NEC. It was 8:30 and dark on arrival. Due to the Mexican, Indian and McDonalds eateries beside the hotel we struggled to get a parking space at the front entrance. There is a large car park to the rear, on driving into it we... More

I booked into this hotel with my cousin. She had pre-paid for a twin room only to find on check-in there was no room available!!! Someone was supposed to have called to let us know there was no availability but no one did. Result - we were stuck without a room and the hotel did nothing to help so we... More

Booked the hotel well in advance due the cheap price and it being one of the few hotels avaliable during a busy weekend in birmingham (German market opening) Once booked, read the reviews and was really worried and not sure what to expect. The hotel was easy to get to from town via public transport. Once arrived, had a warm... More

if you are in a fix or working out of town then this hotel is fine. It doesn't boast about having the best rooms or views, but my room was massive (sleeps 4) and it was clean and very warm. The television worked fine and parking was easy...REMEMBER YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR !!!

Came for a rugby weekend with some friends. We came with low expectations to start with and we weren't disappointed considering how much we paid. Pros: • Spacious rooms. • Very cheap room rates. • Helpful and friendly staff. • Immediate amenities are really good: pub, restaurant, shops and McDonald's. • Public transport connections to the town centre is regular... What can I say, very upsetting. I ordered double room with my own bathroom. I got that, granted, but my whole experience was disappointing. Firstly, the room was cold and there was no way to change this. The bedroom window was overlooking a walkway with absolutely no privacy, not good for a woman on her own. The TV had an... More

Me and friend booked this hotel with full trust so we had somewhere to stay after a concert which was attending. We arrived at the hotel and to find out they didn't have a room for us they had over booked, it left me and friend stuck in Birmingham we had no way getting home, we don't drive, the coaches... I was, to be honest, a little wary of staying here after reading some of the more lurid reviews on this site. There was really no need for this apprehension whatsoever. My room was pleasantly quirky, very warm and equipped with a very comfortable, clean, crisp double bed. There were two large, fluffy towels and the bathroom was warm, clean... More

I stayed here for a week and a half for work. My room was large with interesting nearly antique furniture and seemed wind proof and waterproof. It was more than comfortable enough and really quite charming. It has no restaurant but it is surrounded by food outlets and they are obviously involved with the burger bar next door where you...
