If a thread bare, poor decor, dodgy wiring and browning paint work is your thing, that book it up. To be fair, my room was ok, strange bed, but comfy, heating worked, shower could have been better, wi-fi worked fine. Hotel needs a lot of love. The one member of staff was ok.

Where to start... The wallpaper was ripped off, no heating , no hot water , stank of sewage. My god the bed was like sleeping on a bed of nails. The guy behind the reception did not care about any issues, just want your money. I wouldn't even let a dying dog stay here!!!! DO NOT STAY

The worst hotel I have ever stayed at! The hotel exterior shots on the review websites look nothing like the actual hotel. The double room we were given was cold, the heater being broken, a small portable heater was supplied to help with this. The whole hotel stank of mould and greasy food from the cafe that sits in the...

Bit worried at first as despite friendly guy on desk, hotel seemed a little shabby. Carpets on stairs a bit worn etc. However, room was warm and cosy. Plenty of hot water, and comfortable bed. Only needed one night but for £31 for two good deal. Would use again.

The good Free Wifi even reached the room at the end of the universe we were in. After reaching this bedroom they was no outside noise at all!. They signposted the way back to reception or we may never have got out. The Prince of India restaurant next door (see separate review). Close location to lots of other eating establishments....

We had to stay for a night and we made the booking without reading any reviews. As soon as we arrived we were helped by the staff to find a parking in front of the hotel. Since we arrived on a weekday i guess we got it easily and i assume it would be difficult on weekends as there are...

We booked this hotel for a weekend stay without reading any of the reviews.when we did we were a little apprehensive. We arrived later in the evening and parking at the front of the hotel was quite difficult because of people using the facilities nearby. (Indian restaurant /fish and chip shop/McDonald's/) Once in the room we were quite surprised. The...

Booked here due to the Christmas markets being on so every where in the city centre was fully booked. Was a bit worried due to other bad reviews, but it's on. Cheap as chips, the bed was comfy, nice clean towels & bedding & there's lots of places to eat on the street. You can get a bus into the...
