Where were the rest of the chips?!!! A nice lunch but everyone on the table was disappointed with the lack of chips and they were not even nice, I think they need smaller chips and to put more on! Lovely staff and rooms though I will go again.

We decided to go to the hillmorton manor for the following reasons: Close to town & walking distance for some. Carvery Reasonably priced Car parking Good service Meets our requirements Been for the last few years with no complaints. Can cater for around 50 people, 30 required for the Carvery option which is what we had. Negative points The email...

Arrived at 5.30pm for a large car very lunch. The restaurant was busy, not full, which suggested it's a popular place. The carvery was good. A good selection of meats and vegetables and although kept under warming lights, the meats were all moist fresh looking. The meal was tasty and good value.

We had our wedding reception here and had such an amaising day. The Manor went above and beyond to make the day special. We couldn't of asked for more. The food was great and the choice of drinks was good too. A few guests had rooms and we're happy with them and the breakfast the following morning.

Booked a high chair and had to ask twice for one as it was a family carvery lunch. No one asked if we wanted starters so we didn't, or drinks or if everything was o.k. Meat was very good and you could have five slices. Variety of vegetables average but roast potatoes good. Didn't charge for baby or three year...

The room was good with a very comfortable bed and very quiet despite being on a main road. The breakfast was in a soulless room with little choice. Bathrooms typical of privately owned hotel, small but satisfactory for a one night stay.

I was in the area waiting for a meeting so decided to look for a place to grab dinner. The Hillmorton stuck out due to its characteristic exterior and signs regarding food. I went in and had a coffee while waiting for the chef to start at 6pm. The woman behind the bar was lovely and very welcoming. At 6...

Needed a low cost hotel at short notice and this seemed to be the best value for money available. This hotel is not untypical of privately owned establishments in this part of the market. There is a friendly welcome, the building in keeping with the locality, public areas well kept and tidy, itvappeared recently decorated and the room, bedding and...
