We stayed here unfortunately only for one night, and it is absolutely stunning. The Inn dates from the 1600's,and overlooks the village green. Though we were down visiting friends and to explore the area,we couldn't resist having dinner there as well as breakfast there. In fact with our stunning room, the beautiful garden, warm and friendly staff, paired with a fantastic menu of...

This is an olde worlde pub tastefully modernised to the highest standard with eight bedrooms. Obviously it was not cheap at £150 per room per night at the weekend but we considered this fair value. We were a party of six staying for two nights at the weekend. We booked the Study, the Village & the Garden rooms and all...

Our room (Village) was just right for us - plenty of room, nicely decorated, very comfortable bed, very quiet, very clean bathroom. We ate here on 2 evenings and very much enjoyed the cod with spring vegetables and the...

We sat in the more formal dining area which was lovely too and enjoyed all the food that we had - smoked salmon starter, roast beef with all...

We booked an early table so our 3 year old could eat with us and we had a very good meal with attentive service albeit from a reduced menu due to minor technical issues in the kitchen. What I appreciated was how this was all handled - in an upfront, professional manner - with a voicemail left beforehand advising us...

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay! Staff were wonderful and food was delicious! Deducted 1 star as there was slight background noise from outlet fans at night! Would definitely recommend staying here :) Plenty of free parking too! :)
