Came here at the end of a coast to coast cycle ride. Good storage for the cycles and decent food and beer in the restaurant. The highlight view of the sunset from the restaurant! Overall a nice welcoming place to stay.

The hotel is in a lovely position looking across the Tyne. The beer garden gets the sun and is close to the water. Breakfast (included in the room rate) is substantial, it's self serve but includes a variety of hot and cold food. The room we were in was well sized with views across the river.
