Just stayed here for one night as it was close to Wentworth Club house. The hotel duty manager on Friday 4th March was fantastic. Totally efficient and friendly! Best customer service we have experienced for a long time. Check in and check out was fast and extra requirements like booking us a taxi was done in seconds! Thank you very... More

First we were served frozen chicken on our platter, there was no lamb rolls which was replaced with more frozen chicken. Beef burgers were red in the middle and Luke warm. Chicken burger was too cold to eat. Overall the food was inedible and I will never ever step foot in there again.

A beautiful location at the lakeside. The hotel was refurbished very recently, so everything was new and fresh. The room was a spacious twin, with plenty of storage, at the back of the hotel, awY from the main road. My elderly mum struggled a bit with the steep stairs, though there was only one flight. Breakfast was plentiful and we... More

We had a birthday lunch here - 20 of us and we were put in a separate room with one other group, which was good. We weren't rushed at all and we had a great time. The menu was extensive and the food was of a good quality. The scallops were gorgeous and so was the soup. Everyone loved the... More

Stayed here during a very busy half-term. Despite being short-staffed and mega busy, Poppy found us a table for lunch and made us feel very welcome. Menu was quite large and it took us a bit of time to finalise our choices. Portion size was perhaps slightly on the small side but was very tasty. Our dinner choice of fish... More

Went here with family on a Monday night. The place wasn't busy but to start with there was only one person behind the bar causing a reasonable wait for drinks. We ordered food; the starters arrived on time but had to chase them up for main course and for one dish in particular about three times. The food, when it... More

Stayed here fir the first time after a refurbishment which in the main is cosmetic. Rooms have had additional (not full double) glazing added to help reduce road noise but can still be heard. Breakfast is now more self service than I remember - cooked breakfast is ordered but you have to do your own toast and own tea or... More

This pub has been recently refurbished and is very nice inside. We stopped for lunch and it wasn't to busy for a Thursday lunchtime but the service was very slow. We asked for a table for two and even though there was lots spare we were seated the furthest away. We had a couple of starters and shared a gourmet... More
