This is not like other bed and breakfast accommodation. It is run by Ingrid an artist whose work - paintings and ceramics - adorns the house. The beds are comfortable and the front bedroom (the one in the photo) is very spacious. The house -- which is also Ingrid's home -- is convenient for either Kingston town centre (10 minutes...

My home base in the UK – I travel to Norbiton/Kingston every 6 weeks or so for business, and have stayed at most of the places near my office before settling on Artist’s Villa. Two rooms are rented out - one is small but big enough for my needs (desk, double bed, closet, chest of drawers, cable TV, etc.), the...

I attended a course at Kingston University for one week, and booked myself into the single room at the Artists villa. It is easy to find with sat nav, and Ingrid was very helpful with information about car parking. The road is very quiet, even though it is very close and convenient to Norbiton train station. My room was quite...

I stopped overnight as I was working near and it was a last minute.com booking. I was nearly put off going to this place because of the previous review but take it from me the last person who reviewed here must have either gone to a different place or themselves were the person they were describing. My stay was pleasant,friendly...

I booked this hotel a month in advance, directly with the manager/owner. Five days before my stay, I received a phone call from the hotel saying they would have to cancel my booking. No reason was given, no offer of compensation and no advice on an alternative. They also claimed they had tried to text me and got no reply,...

We stayed at Artists Villa for two nights whilst visiting family in Kingston. The location is great - 3 minutes walk to Norbiton station where you can then be in central London in half an hour, the house is 15 minutes walk to the centre of Kingston. Parking by meter in the week but free Friday night, and all weekend...

I have stayed in this B&B for 6 nights and due to stay again in a few weeks. It's an excellent bed and breakfast, rooms are beautiful, warm, cosy and the bathroom is excellent. A few minutes walk from the station it's an ideal location for business travellers.

The house is beautiful and Ingrid is lovely and welcoming. My partner and I stayed here for 3 days in July. We felt very comfortable and at home. We stayed in the front bedroom, which is very spacious, with a lovely king size bed. Nice continental breakfast, thankfully, as I can't cope with a fried breakfast in the morning. Loved...

Artists Villa is literally a tourist's villa... within 200 meters of this B&B there is the Norbiton Train station, 2 or 3 bus stops and numbers of restaurants (Thai/ Lebanese/ Chinese/ English..etc.) and grocery stores. In side this Victorian Age house it is surprisingly full of colours and contrasts...arts and crafts.... lights and shadows.. it is indeed "Charmingly Beautiful"!! About...

This B&B is very very nice! Somebody wrote a comment that 'Ingrid plays her own music' Yes but that music is a very pleasant thing: Jazz, Blues. The guest room - larger front is marvelous. Shared bathroom is not a problem. Nice continental breakfast with excellent coffee. Thoroughly recommended!
