I stayed here for one night on 12th September 2014 with my husband. We had a spacious room with a four-poster bed. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and has its own restuarant and bar. Hotel is in a beautiful, quiet setting and we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast in the morning was...

We had a wedding in Farnham Castle on Friday 10/7/15 so traveled down afternoon before and stayed here. Wonderful old country mansion in fabulous grounds. Room rate reasonable at £75 but this does not include breakfast. When we arrived they had just had a total power cut due to a severed cable on main road. The staff were very pleasant...

Initial thoughts on arriving. Pretty grounds and old charm. However alarm bells rang as on checking in requested to pay. Why! We had already given card details on the online site as a guarantee for booking. It's been a long time since we have been asked to pay on arrival and only in places rather dodgy. The receptionist was very helpful....

My husband and I stayed her for two nights. Driving up the hotel looked lovely and we were really happy with our room. We only had one set of towels on arrival but another set was promptly brought up to us by staff. We had dinner in the restaurant on our first night, the ribeye steak with wild muschroom gravy was...

The building is very attractive with pretty grounds, and we received a friendly welcome from the staff. That is about all that I can complement about this hotel. The decor is very old fashioned, and our room was dirty. There was dust and cobwebs in the corner, and the shower curtain in the ancient bathroom was mouldy at the bottom....

I am always concerned when a hotel asks for payment up front on arrival. We were staying for a local event and had booked room only in a dog friendly room. The room location was good as we had a door directly on to the garden to the rear of the house which was ideal traveling with two large dogs....

The hotel is situated in large grounds just off the A31 Alton Road - if arriving from Farnham take great care at the junction in the dual carriageway to cross over to the entrance. The hotel is a lovely Arts and Craft building that's been sympathetically extended. It still has lots of character, particularly the paneled bar and the entrance...

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a wedding party. The hotel is lovely, the grounds are mainly nice apart from the pond needs some work to tidy it up. We had a large room as travelling with a baby, this was excellent, loads of room for the travel cot and for both of us too. We also...

On arrival the hotel is beautiful.. Long driveway with stunning countryside. The hotel itself is a lovely large country house. Check in was quick and easy and everybody we come in contact with who worked at the hotel was polite and respectful. We didnt spend much time there as we had a wedding down the road, but the rooms were...

Love this hotel. It is just what I expected for a short stay at a country hotel in the south of England. We have a room with a balcony that looks out onto the gardens. It is all peaceful and quiet and charming. Importantly, this is not a five star hotel in a big city so you have to set...
