Nice hotel, a bit off the main road and wasn’t sure at first if I was heading the right way. Nice comfortable rooms and pleasantly different from the usual Hotel chains. Staff were helpful, breakfast was cooked fresh.

We too had a brilliant New Year's eve party here. This hotel has an interesting history and is quirky and homely - we loved the tartan carpet! The rooms were lovely. Some of our party were in rooms that have been updated and they were clean and bright. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the food on the night...

We enjoyed a fabulous new year's eve here and stayed the night. The food was delicious including a tasty and generous brunch. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room had a balcony which was lovely. The bed was firm and comfy. The bathroom was clean and plenty of very hot water. The room was very warm too. Overall...

Well it's sort of OK for a three star hotel but not wonderful, mind you we were working - and that's what it felt like - around a wedding they were hosting. We paid £174 for two nights DBB. We were staying because we were guests at a wedding a couple of miles west. Weddings do take over a place...

Setting is lovely. A pleasant old fashioned hotel. Rooms are a bit tired but not out of the ordinary for a 3 star. Staff friendly and helpful. Catering is OK for the star rating all served with a smile. the grounds are beautiful and well kept. Nice for weddings or a short break.

I went here with the family for my grandads birthday for a sunday lunch. The drive up is amazing you feel like you could be deep in the countryside somewhere and then when you pull into the hotels grounds the hotel is beautiful. Nice big doorway entrance, when we walked in we was greeted and shown to the bar area...
