The place is outdated and run down, it's needs a makeover and cleaning. I stayed for a few days as there was nowhere else, bed sheets smelt and found someone's dirty clothes. Staff rude and not very welcoming. Avoid staying if you can!!!!

not as bad as what I thought after reading the reviews the bedding was clean and the towels were clean. Breakfast consisted of egg beans cheap one sausage and tin mushrooms. The staff need to learn how to smile and be a bit more interested in their clients.

Tiny rooms, noisy, windows that wont shut, run down, awful musty smell with black mold evident in the bathroom. The shower was useless, the miniscule TV had channels missing. Maybe ok as a single night emergency bolt hole but not for a week! Avoid.

Absolutely vile! Staff look like their on another planet. Room tiny and dirty... dirt all over the walls and ceilings. Filthy windows... cigarette ends on the window sill. Shower tiles cracked and dirt oozing out them. The shower hardly even works ... tiny drips come out of it couldn't even get washed properly. Smallest TV I have ever seen in...

We stayed here for one night enroute to Gatwick airport. The positives are: 1- the bed was fairly comfortable with clean sheets; 2-clean towels , 3-toiletries available,4- free parking and 5- acceptable breakfast. Suffice to say that the Hotel Inspector needs to visit and shake things up.

Arrived at this hotel late in the afternoon after a hot and sunny day. It was quite nice to find an old Victorian Building that externally was well presented with Flowers in pots dotted around the outside. Registration went smoothly and I was shown to my room . The room was on the ground level and the windows were open....

The place was dirty, damp, smelly, cold.. refused to stay in the end, no money was refunded. . Required this hotel for work but it was not fit for a person to stay in - could catch an illness. Horrific staff, avoid at all costs.

My family and I spent one night at this place and regretted it from the moment we entered our rooms. They had stuck us in the loft rooms for the night which were both filthy, hot and stuffy. The place in incredibly run down. Furniture and windows missing handles. Sliding toilet doors that don't hide what's going on inside. Holes...

My husband and I spent two nights at this place, visiting friends. It's not an hotel, it's a B&B. Although there was only one other family staying in an 'hotel' with around 50 rooms, we were both put right up in small rooms on the second floor. Our room was unbearably hot but leaving the window open was a dangerous...
